Lord Fuckwit at the F.A (dont know his name!) reckons a winter break would lead to a lot less injuries in the second half of the season. Personally I think all that would happen is the big clubs would all fuck off to Dubai for mega money friendlies meaning the only people to get a "rest" would be us fans!! Thoughts anyone??

I think Lord Triesman is correct.
yes you would get everyone jetting off to warmer climes but they do that anyway.
no P/L games in Jan & then teh FA Cup & the lower divisions would get some much needed exposure.

It's a man's game, it's been traditional to play through the winter for well over 100 years, why are our best players suddenly too nesh to that again??

not a bad idea, but not like the German one that last for 6 weeks or whatever it is. 3 week break in mid winter would be good

Highlight of the year is often who and where we play on Boxing Day. I don't think you can replace that.

Not a chance! Football is traditional over the Christmas period, Ok so some puffs like Ronaldo are used to have breaks in their own country? They can either learn to deal with it or fuck off back! (In Ronaldo's case just fuck off.)

All well and good having a month off in January but what happens if the snow doesn't want to come until Feb?
