Is it just me or are the spine of the team performing as well as I think?
Sorenson - Awesome last night, came and more importantly got everything and some excellent saves
Shawcross - Confidence seems to be through the roof at the mo...really think he could go rite to the top to be honest
Faye - Nuff Said
Whelan - Last couple of games have been very promising...bout time he was given license to push on a little more. Looks very threatening and composed on the ball.
Diao - The exception last night. Poor all nite to be honest but excellent in the tackle. Think Tone realised he was struggling last night although Faye, to me, is a more than adequate replacement
Beattie - Utterly brilliant. Seems to be able to create something from nothing and his shots are awesome. Crosses aint bad either so expect him to be out on the wing soon ;D.
All adds up to be a very promising sight to me and I havn't even mentioned Fuller, Delap, Lawrence and co.
Loved every minute of last nights game unlike the Villa. Full praise to Mr Pulis this time methinks.

Not just performing but the personnel's changed, six months ago Mama was a vital part of the spine, last night he was so-so at best but now we have an out and out striker as part of the spine in Beattie. We can depend on him in ways we never could with Ric. Also Glenn's made himself a spine player for the first time in the past couple of weeks. If everyone stays fit and with Ethers back, it's looking good!

Good post, but I think you have missed the most important element in the spine.
Step forward Mr M Sidibe.

Good post, but I think you have missed the most important element in the spine. Step forward Mr M Sidibe. What a crock of shit. Beattie is five times the player Mama is, he can do everything that mama does better AND score lots of goals. Ric can hold up play better than Mama too and can create something out of nothing AND score goals. Sidibe should only play if Beattie cant.
