Said to my Baggie mate this morning i can see Shawcross going for a lot of money in the next few seasons. He seems so calm these days but as he says Abby must be helping him massively. Keep it up big fella

He will learn loads by playing along side Abdy (The Hitman) and therefore will attract a lot of attention from bigger teams and not only in this country.

I was thinking the other night, maybe it isn't just Abdy that has helped him come along. Sorro isn't afraid to tell defenders where they are going wrong and maybe this has helped him progress. whatever it is, it's worked wonders. He is a quality player

surely he said abdoulaye not amdy? He's learning about football mate, expecting him to know his name is just asking too much I'm sure it's a crappy journalist mis-print.

Don't know if you saw the close ups of his face during one of Boltons corners on Football First when I think he was marking davies or Elmander bu he was looking at them like ...'Don't even think about scoring .....you've got no chance'
He's becoming a class act and I hope we keep him for at least another couple of seasons before his agent touts him to the big boys who will pay him silly money.
At the moment he is hungry for football and long may it continue. Playing alongside A B and in front of Tommo has got to help massively.

surely he said abdoulaye not amdy? correct, wank journalism yet again. Especially since it's just a rehash of the Stoke site where Abdoulaye is correctly named as the world's strongest man. "They [Davies and Elmander] battered me and I got a few bruises but I came back strongly and I had Abdy alongside me, who's probably the strongest man in the world! That makes it easier."

To go from that inexperienced player in the first game of the season at Bolton to where he is now is unbelievable - well done Ryan.
