Football players are HUMAN BEINGS.
What must the likes of Sonko think when moronic inbreds post absolute nonesense about them, some of which is probably libellous. He is an athlete, extremely fit, who has made a living playing professional football as well as representing his country.
Come on 1tinypulis and co. get yourselves a contract at Stoke, play in the Prem and we can all sit back and admire the footballing genius that you undoubtedly are.

I thought Sonko was fine last night, but are you saying fans can never be critical of a player's performance because they aren't professionals?

Is was not Sonks worst game in a Stoke shirt. I'm not saying he was class (he wasn't) but it was an average performance and he was unlucky not to score at the end. The header against the bar was a class header.

No I'm not. Everybody of course is entitled to their opinion (which sometimes is biased towards favourites and against players we dont rate). It's all too easy though to sit behind a computer terminal and criticise people. Unfortunately there are too many people who appear to jump on the bandwagon to publicly slaughter people. My comments really though were based on Sonko's point of view. Highly paid he may be but to have an anonymous detractor slag you off in public "How S**T was Sonko last night" does nothing for him or the team's morale.
As I said, he is only human

I think if Sonko didnt give away that reckless penalty at Blackburn then people wouldnt be half as critical of him

Some people make their minds up based on a player's prior performances or even past reputation. Amdy Faye came in for some stick earlier in the season in spite of the fact that he was playing pretty well because "Charlton fans don't like him" or "I've just never rated him". It's pathetic, judge him on the game he's playing now, not six months ago!

I think if Sonko didnt give away that reckless penalty at Blackburn then people wouldnt be half as critical of him I think thats exactly right. That was a very poor challenge but you have to move on and Sonko has not made that mistake again. I suppose 1tinypuils would not have given the penalty away though.

I agree completely. If a player has a bad game, then say it. But don't just post a pile of negative shit, particularly when players like Sonko actually had a good game!
