I didn't catch P&G but I'm told Liam took a bit of stick tonight which is nothing short of bizarre! His delivery was excellent tonight and I feel his first three appearances since his return have got better each time as he starts to get match fit. With Beattie and Ric in the team I think Liam is going to have a big impact on our remaining games. Keep the standards of tonight up Liam and I for one will be happy!!

i agree. Liam had a freshness about him tonight that i felt was the only thing missing from his Villa and Portsmouth performances.
he looked fit, and his passing was superb

I didn't here it either Jamo, what game were these people watching?
Lenny and Ric link up together so well, there is a real understanding between them.
And as you say with Ethers back and Whelan shining we could really give teams somet to think about ... away from home as well as a the Brit.

Lenny and Ric bounce of each other but personally speaking if Liam is to cut the mustad at this level then he has to play inside right of midfield for me.

Thought Lawrence had a terrific game last night. he was hungry for the ball, and taking his man on willingly. A decent break now prior to the Everton game. Get him in for extra training, get him fit and we could bring back at least a point. Ethers back as well, and Fuller back on song. I'm feeling right chuffed at the moment.

Only saw it on Football First but i thought he did well and is looking fitter and fitter. His corners and free-kicks were nearly all put into really dangerous areas aswell. Couple more games and he'll be back to his old self i reckon.

Seemed transformed when Fuller came on against Villa, and another good game last night.

I didn't here it either Jamo, what game were these people watching? In the bit I heard, a caller was just saying that Delap should start ahead of Lawrence -because of his throws- when asked about our midfield at Everton (and beyond?).

Corners and freekicks are better than anyone else, but I don't think he will cut it as a wideman, doesn't have the pace for the Premier, may have to move into the middle.

Did anyone notice Liam had on a different pair of boots on since his return from injury? He's been wearing those awful looking all black boots resembling a pair of dockers.

Lawrence's delivery of dead balls was superb last night and his general play was very good but he should of scored and his dive in the box was plain ridiculous.

I thought he was excellent, worked hard with Wilko behind him.
Very impressed, look sincreasingly like his old self.

What I heard on P&G was ppl discussing the team for Everton and everyone seemed to agee that Liam should make way for Ethers. One caller said something like 'I'd drop Lawrence in a heartbeat'. No one really said he had a bad game, just that they think Ethers would be more effective.
My opinion, don't change a winning side!
