He wont get a call up and even if he does it will only be for onr friendly and thats it. Just because hes scored a few goals doesnt mean hes all of a sudden class lol. And I think a lot people would prefer Cole to Beattie, especially when thinking of the long run. A season or two and Beattie will have had it.

And a week or two and Cole will have had it judging by his career to date. I can't recall anyone saying that Beattie would have a long stint with England again just that he MIGHT get a recall due to his current form. If he gets a call for a friendly (which you now admit is possible)then it would mean we Stokies were right afterall. Thanks for seeing sense in the end.

what so your Beattie for England really means 'beattie for England for one friendly' whats the point mate? And I dont know why your jizzing over Carlton Cole all the time whats he got to do with it in the first place? Tim Cahill is a better striker than Beattie and Coel anyway

Did your mum drop you on your head when you were little? The reference to Cole is due to the fact that before he scored 5 in 5, nobody in the country would have expected him to be anywhere near the England squad. The same would have been said about Beattie a few weeks ago, but now he is scoring and on form he has a CHANCE and (at the risk of repeating myself) that's the point we're trying to make. Is it really that hard to understand?

Funny an Everton fan having a go at the best form striker in the division when they could manage a shot on goal v 10 man Newcastle or Blackburn last night. Bet he can't wait to get at them.
No reason he shouldn't get a recall. The only thing that may stand in his way is his age but shouldn't matter if he's doing it on the pitch which he cleary is. It's not just his goals, his general play is outstanding.

There's no way i want Beattie called up!
You just know he'd get injured and miss crucial games (like Torres did for Spain). The last thing we need right now!
Call him up next season, when we're in the European places and have lots of breathing space.

Bt sadly is probably too old and lacks that extra bit of pace, and I doubt if Postman Pat has watched a Stoke game this season. I am not a fan of Cole although he is an improvement on Bent! Who is absolute pants and I have no idea how he was picked for England....but if the england gaffer is true to his mantra about picking players in form then there is only one striker on fire in the prem at the moment and he wears the red and white stripes. A goal from BT at Goodison may well raise the interest level

Capello has picked 1st Bent & then Cole for a friendly each & imho you wont see either play for England again.
it would take a couple of injuries & a few more goals yet but Beattie is surely on the outer reaches of the England radar by now for the very simple reason that there are so few English strikers in the prem - & especially out & out centre fowrads. Heskey,Crouch (& how BAD was he at the Brit) are probably fighting it out for 1 spot.
after that Beattie is a better bet than Cole & Kev Davies gets mentions so why not our man?

Oh yeah and why not throw Andy Griffin in at right back while your at it. Behave. Why not though and why isn't it feasible given his form? I suppose you think Carlton Cole deserved his chance do you? While you're at it, lets get Phil Neville back in the England fold as well eh? (you started it!) Carlton Cole thoroughly deserved his chance. He's having an excellent season and fits into the way Capello wants to play as a kind of Heskey deputy.

It's not just his goals, his general play is outstanding. Ffs mate. We had several shots 'on target' against both teams. And youre an absolute cretin if youre judging Everton's season on 2 games. We've conceded 1 goal in 6 games and lost 1 in about 12. And where we are in the league doesnt lie. Form is temporary when it comes to Beattie, he was dire when he played for us. Id lvoe to see how you would react if you had for example Ashley Young or even a player with as much class as Arteta....Christ you wouldnt be able to stop jizzing over a player of such quality if this is the reaction to James Beattie.

He was shit for you, yes, but he's fucking awesome for us. Just because he couldn't get his form there (due to a fall out with Moyes I believe) doesn't mean he can't get it elsewhere. Ask Southampton and Sheffield United fans if they think he's shit. Stop talking bollocks.
He's scored five goals in six games and also has two assists, helping us out of the relegation zone in the process. If we can't think gush over him after that, then when can we?
Like I said, stop talking such bollocks.

Like I said, stop talking such bollocks. No it wasnt due to a fall out with anyone we sold him because he wasnt good enough for a club as big as Everton. As I said it shows how desperate you are if you are 'gushing' over James Beattie. I rated Beattie when he was at Everton actually I think hes a good player but think some of the reactions to a few tap ins are laughable. Behave yourself Robert. PS Cahills gonna get ya!

Look, regardless of what the toffee chimp from Oz thinks. The fact is that if anything was ever fair in football then the players on form should be picked for their country regardless what club they play for. Unfortunately apart from a couple of exceptions it's normally the players at en vogue teams that get the nod. Fact is whether you like it or not wizard, Beattie is the on form Striker at the moment, as Jagielka is one of the on form centre halves and should get the nod for England.
H
Can I just say that arrogant cunter comments such as that just make you look like most of the Anfield retards that I know. And they are alot better and alot bigger than your team.

Oh and I wouldnt say that header v Pompey or a penalty could be classed as 'good' just right place right time. This whole thread reminds me of the time when the Reading fans were calling for Dave Kitson to be in the England set up, and look at the fuckin state of him now. I rest my case ;D

Sorry where did I say was judging your season- I know English a second language for Scousers but please quote where I said that. I said Beattie is currently in form and the last 3 Everton games I've seen (excluded WBA as despite outplaying you they are shite) you struggled up front...............sorry if it was difficult to grasp but reading your nonsense it's obvious you're not very bright anyway.
What has Beattie got to do with how few goals you've conceded?? No one cares- I suggest you up your learning and try and few Mr Men books to improve your grasp of the language.
