said the same thing tonight. Not many more English strikers are as on as good of a form, played 7, set 2 up and scored 5 (I think)

5 goals and 2 assists - i'm sure that's the kind of record that got Cole a call-up and Beatts is not much older than Heskey...

We were saying this again tonight, Cappello tends to pick players in form so he has to have a chance you would think. He is without doubt the most in form English striker in the league.

The blokes clearly on a mission and whilst he did brilliantly in Sheffield he obviously relishes the opportunity with us.
Sometimes players "fit" certain clubs and we may just be that for him.
He's too old to play for England ~(not for me) but we dont want him getting tired by playing internationals.
Sheff U are doind great at the moment. Wonder how they'd be with the man.

Oh yeah and why not throw Andy Griffin in at right back while your at it. Behave. Why not though and why isn't it feasible given his form? I suppose you think Carlton Cole deserved his chance do you? While you're at it, lets get Phil Neville back in the England fold as well eh? (you started it!)

No shit! Well if that shit house Cole can get in there's no reason BT couldn't get a recall, that's my (fairly obvious) point. The current manager seems to pick on form rather than reputation, Cole is the perfect example. Every dog has his day and I seriously don't expect someone as wank as Cole to play for England on a regular basis.

Id rather have Cole than Beattie mate lol and I think most teams would. Carlton Cole would walk into your team so I dont know why youre slaggin him so much. And your point wasnt obvious at all mate incoherent drivel was what you wrote.

And your point wasnt obvious at all mate incoherent drivel was what you wrote. Perhaps in your mind it was drivel but if you actually think Cole is any good, all your credibilty has left the building mate. He's always been shite and a run of scoring in a few matches for once in his career, does not make him someone I would want in my team.

I know mate he played for Everton. Im just saying Id rather Cole because hes younger and a better player IMO. Gimp. If you think Cole is better than Beattie, there's only one "gimp" on here. And who uses "gimp" anyway? Anyway back to the point, Beattie is scoring goals, playing well and he's English, so therefore he does have a chance to get a recall. That's all anybody has said and it's hard to argue with those facts.
