“I'm looking for players who go across the white line and compose themselves, and can respect the decision (to substitute Geovanni) for the reasons it was taken. "He was very apologetic for his actions but as far as I was concerned his actions were those of an angry man, as opposed to a composed man, and that's what I'm looking for. "But it's between me and Geo, it's in-house, it will remain in-house, and he's got an opportunity on Wednesday to do something about it”
To be honest Phil, you’ve just discussed it with the press so it isn’t really in-house. A simple “it will be dealt with in-house” would have sufficed if that is what you intended.
Why not throw in a “that’s not what you expect from a Phil Brown player” comment too?
Tool.

Ah but a simple "it will be dealt with in house" comment wouldnt get him as much column space or as much time on SSN. Media hungry whore that he is thrives off of it, hope tango enjoys the Champ next season

I spoke to someone today who i would call a fringe football fan, watches motd and supports man ure (obv)
He said, he quite liked phil brown and said what a great job he's doing at hull and even referenced the on the pitch (theres in house for you!) bolloking he said it showed that he doesnt take fools likely
Well Jimmy Bullard probably dosnt agree with that!
he does appeal to those who dont really know much about football

what an absolute birk phil brown is, the more I see him in interviews and in the media generally, you can just sense he knows he has been found out

that bloke is SO far up his own anus, i mean, wot sort of manager starts talking of playing in europe just 3 months into his 1st season in the prem with a club like hul-no disrespect their either- but give me a break!! talk about bbuying into your own hype. personally i hope hulls season gets worse just so i can see his face when he makes his post relegation excuses.

It's another gesture, like the on-pitch bollocking, designed to pass the buck and any hint of blame attached to himself on to somebody else. Takes the credit when they win, blames the players when they lose. Absolute c**t.

i totally agree, the whole point of the "on pitch bollocking" was just a chance to get some publicity while making twats out of a team that up to that game had lost 1 or 2 away games and won 5 i think. he`s a limelight grabbing orange knob-head.

He's certainly bucking the trend of an english manager. I find it quite entertaining and I can't wait to see them slip into the relegation dogfight because his bizzare approach to management will only get, quite frankly, more bizzare.
