I know this might sound morbit but it's not. It is just an article I wrote about things I miss in the game and a bit of a trip down memory lane. I do not include Stoke in my reasoning as I am enjoying this season watching Stoke more than I can recall for a long time. Whelan's goal on Sunday made me happier than I even thought possible from a game of football and long may it continue. Anyways, here's my article for those of you who are interested: englishfootballpost.com/news/2009/03/03/10-things-missing-from-english-football/

Don't mean to decry your efforts, but you're not saying much that hasn't been said a thousand times before - hackneyed would be the best description. Also, a lot of it is simply not true. You also lose points for talking about the EPL - there's no such thing, unless you're an American soccer commentator.
Other than that, it was great!!

WIMBLEDON:
Sorry, I know they were horrible but what they did to their own fans was utterly dispicable. Firstly selling their ground and living like nomads for years and expecting their fans to tag along. Then moving to Milton F.....g Keynes and becoming a 'new' club.
The reason I have entered them as something I miss is that I wish I could give them back to their original fans who were so cruely robbed of their football club.

Vicky Powell: Walked around the ground with the Goalden Goal time during the 70's. She was in my class and I snogged her (eat yer heart out Jackie Marsh).
Lovely girl Vicky!

You also lose points for talking about the EPL - there's no such thing, unless you're an American soccer commentator. Other than that, it was great!! Agree hate EPL - had to refer to it this way as is the style request of a US site I write for and I just lazily pasted the article on both sites, leaving in American terminology and acronyms. Apologies. I realise I've mentioned nothing new as it is quite hard to really. Just thought id share things from a personal point of view. Really appreciate and take on board your comments though. Thanks. I would've said terracing but I've droned on about that for far too long.

Georgie Best:
Ok so he was Man U. but he was always a hero to me and always will be. I F.....g love the guy (in a purely heterosexual way).
Ronaldo isn't fit to kiss his feet.

harry Im also not sure about Mourinho being a 'character' Arrogant cock springs more to mind I'd say he was both. Funny how folk who profess to hate Ferguson seem to like Mourinho, when they're cut from the same cloth in many ways.

harry Im also not sure about Mourinho being a 'character' Arrogant cock springs more to mind I know he is a man who many 'love-to-hate' and when he was at Chelsea I didnt care too much for him either but despite him being very Arrogent (you're dead right) and Fergie also, you do miss them when they are not around, for pure entertainment purposes and also for their ability in the game. so it was a kind of: 'dont know what you've got till its gone' mindset. things are a lot duller without him, surely?
