Good to see Gabby playing an important role in Peterborough's promotion charge. He was injured for last night's win over Leyton Orient but has played 29 games this season (even scoring a goal!!). He never let us down and put his neck on the line every time he stepped onto the field. It was a shame he played a lot of his games at right back because he was far better in the centre. One of those promotion heroes who, I'm sure, many of us had already forgotten.

Spot on Knowles, he played his part.
Along with Nash and Riggott.

I have two distinct memories of Gabby:
- His debut at Derby away, when he put in a sterling performance in our 2-0 win.
- Away at QPR, which came close to one of the worst right-back performances I've seen! *
Decent defender though, and I'm surprised he's having to make his living in the lower leagues.
* Edit: Apart from Lewis Buxton, during our last-ever game at Highfield Road!

Who can forget Jody Craddock too, who was superb in our home win over Charlton and featured in four games.
I remember Zakuani having a sterling 30 minutes or so at the Hawthorns last season- he was absolutely immense. Sadly, he was also terrible at right back against Norwich.
He was so bad he told TP he was injured at half time so he didn't have to contend with Huckerby for any longer!

WBA away last season he was superb until he went off injured. Always played well when called on, I always thought he was unlucky in his first stint with us getting dropped after the win at Derby for Fortune, who made a costly error in his return match.

You are all quite right.
Just highlights TP's brilliance in the loan market when you consider that all those mentioned were fairly vital in our eventual promotion. They have all earned our eternal thanks.

As a centre back, judged purely as a defender, he was as good if not better than Cort - although not with Cort's eye for a goal. To be honest I wish we had gone for him rather than spending money on Sonko.

Forny, he can’t throw a ball as far as Sonko though.
That’s why we invested millions.
