yep everything appears to be going our way tonight
AND some threads pretty much assuming we'll win tomorrow
But I would contend
1) its a very big game tomorrow with plenty of nerves
2) Bolton are an established premier team and are no mugs
3) their centre forward (Kevin Davies) gave us a right run round last time
4) they are well organized and strong and will definitely not lie down
5) Their manager pretty much knows our players inside out
so tomorrow nights incredibly important - we need to win it
and, as important as anything else
6) our manager's got to pick the right team to do the job and outwit Megson in the process
and that includes (for me) a much more progressive midfield than hes been starting with recently
i.e. Whelan and Lawrence must start (a 'no brainer') and Salif Djao is far too defensive to play at home I'm afraid
lets see eh --- cant wait !

I don't think many people are expecting us to win tomorrow I think we all know we have a chance but almost everyone on here knows it'll be one hell of a big win if we manage it

3 minutes of drama on Sunday has got everyone pumped up, as I've posted elsewhere I really hope the lads pick up where they left off and the Bear Pit sets new records tomorrow.

wasnt too pissed off with the point at Villa (well err - mmm jumping up and down in my kitchen actually) BUT was left wondering, what would've happened had we had a real go from the off ?
The goal we conceded before half time actually turned out to be a blessing - he had to change his totally duff first half tactics and formation as a direct result
AND, HE FREELY ADMITTED AFTER THAT HE'D SCREWED UP tactically first half
Maybe he's learning after all.

good post tony and i agree. I think Whelan ahs to start to add that creativity. I can see tomorrow being a typical game of Hoofball or as Megson said earlier on "A typical Brittish game" ;D and Both Diao andAmdy will do nothing important in this game. Salif and Glenn for me with Lawrence on the left and Delap on the right. BT and mama with Fuller coming off the bench on 60 min mark.

Abdoula Faye's crucial to us too - (although Sonko apparantly did much better on sunday)
AB FAYE - he's the other half of our best central defensive pairing that now, picks itself
hope he makes it tomorrow and I'll feel much more confidnet

you fat bastard - you fat ----- - all dismissed with a smile and a wave (he knew we were a 'proper football corwd' )
you get the idea

uk,
He could, if he had the balls keep the same side as above and when Matty is back switch Rory to the middle and Matty on the left, can't see him doing it personally.

The rest as you day is history

Bring it on Notlob!!!
