Beat Aldershot 2-0 tonight while Grimsby lost 1-0 at home to Brentford.
It's looking very bleak for Grimsby. To think we stayed up in 2003 at their expense.

If Bournemouth pull it of it'll be a huge achievement. They won't get the credit they deserve either I'll bet.

Good on bournemouth, they have battled away and eventually got out of it. It's wierd to think of luton going out of the league to be honest. It don't seem that long ago when we were playing them in the top flight.

Good on them, I will be really pleased for them if they do manage to stay up. The FA in this country is shite

Wouldn't rule them out finishing above the Vile at this rate

At this rate, two of the teams who were deducted points are going to stay up. Luton were never going to overturn a thirty point deficit, so one of either Bournemouth or Rotherham was always going to be safe, as long as they made it to the end of the season.

Had a sort of soft spot for b'mth since the goalscoring heyday of Ted McDougall (then he spoiled it by joining The Shit)

I remember going in a box at Dean Court about twelve years ago and they were severly short of cash back then. I was amazed when the stadium was revamped.
Delighted that they are out of the relegation zone- I think most of us had written the Cherries and Luton off at the start of the season. Vale are 11 points from safety...

Real soft spot for Bournemouth. Their fans are the best.
Feel for Luton

C'mon the Cherries! I like Bournemouth. Especially Gerry Payton throwing the ball in the net in '89!

'Especially Gerry Payton throwing the ball in the net in '89! '
Feel a bit guilty re that/ Was in Spain and watching a game live on TV where there was a bit of trouble in the crowd so it seemed. Sadly was Hillsboro' and got the Stoke result later- Paul Ware was credited with the goal but was a Gerry OG IMHO
