Best mental- had to be this Indian woman who walked round Nantwich in her wedding dress shouting abuse at traffic and passers by. She once told me outside the Post Office I was going to die!!! Only went in for some stamps. She was a real mental.

Got to be Notts County away last game of the 1978/79 season.two minutes to go and we had to score to go up, 60 seconds to go and we score,The cue for a pitch invasion from 15000 stokies, the removal of the grass/pitch, the goal posts, the chairs from the main stand and several of the crush barriers from the terracing....beat that.Never seen anything like it any where in 40 years of watching the beautiful game

Birmingham away before the mad brummies ruined it!
Mickey Thomas away to Bradford in a midweek game, it was a late winner and I jumped off the food counter at the back of the stand and went ballistic down the gangway at the back of the satnd with joyous Stokies

To be fair, the second against Pompey, I was absolutely trolleyed, my mate is a pompey fan, we scored the second and I nearly died, i was screaming so loud that no noise was coming out. Also, Lawrence's 2nd penalty to make it 3-3 away at Barnsey on boxing day last season, in the 98th minute!

Liverpool away 25th September 1991. That mental at the end just seemed to be a mental not just for TK's goal but a celebration of Stoke turning a corner. there followed a few seasons of memorable mentals, vale away, peterborough away, vale at home, manu at home, forest away. great couple of seasons.
in more modern times you cant beat the cardiff play off mental. it was surreal to witness people going completely bonkers and having a pitch invasion in front of a big telly.
as stoke fans we complain a lot, but, by god, it makes the good moments so much more intense.

Sheffield Wednesday when Pulis was in charge first time around, I remember going mental. Brynjar Gunnarsson scored late on (might've even been in the 90th minute) to give us a 3-2 win and boost our survival hopes.
This season, Villa, Arsenal and Pompey have all been mad.

"That" night away at Cardiff has to be the best of all time for anyone who was there. Absolutely unbelievable mental when JOC's goal went through Kav's legs & into the bottom corner. I grabbed the lass who was standing beside me & her boyfriend jumped on top of me. Wasn't sure if he was celebrating or defending her - celebrating as it turned out!
Also remember a fine mental at home on a Friday night against PNE when JOC scored late on.
There have been some crackers this season as well - Chelsea away and Villa home and away spring to mind. Arsenal at home wasn't half bad either!

Luton 2-3 Stoke City. A 94th minute own goal from Chris Coyne propelled us into the play-off zone. Bloody brilliant stuff!

few seasons back (Can't remember exactly). Pompy at home and we needed to win to have a realistic chance of staying up. Dire game with next to no chances then right at the death pompy defender s,macks the ball which rockets off Kyle Lightbourne and into the net. The whole ground just went completely beserk and I was dancing up and down the steps (and I'm 52). Classic!
