OVF's not a happy place at the moment: www.onevalefan.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=7Trouble is, if they could oust the fan's owned consortium and the fan's favourite ex-player now-manager, then where the hell do they go next? Bill Bell, that's where.

With all the demolition going on is it really fair to say there's more than one street in Burslem anymore?

I'm not sure three people strictly constitutes a riot either. Below five it's technically a scuffle.

Agent Glover is doing a sterling job of finishing Agent Sinnott's Operation Blue Square project. ;D
Keep up the good work Deano.

It'll be reminiscent of a scene from Louis Theroux's programme, The Most Hated Family in America.
That is, five weirdos standing on a street corner holding placards and being heckled by passing motorists.

I went the Vale game tonight with a couple of mates and my God it was awful football. The first 75 minutes of Saturdays game is a beacon of footballing brilliance compared to that tonight. Vale deserved the win though if I'm being honest if nothing but for actually scoring.

I wouldn't fancy watching that shite every week. As for riots on the streets? It amounted to a banner saying 'Glover Out, V2001 Out, PVFC For Sale'. Hardly hardcore civil disobedience! Vale... Hahahahahaha

I hear that it's kicked off after the game with Dean Glover going outside (with a police escort) to speak to the protesting fans. Some one lit a flare, threw it and punches were thrown. That's all I've heard so far.

www.portvaleonline.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8912Posted by MarkyG Wondering what people thought about the Protest today? "I thought that the chanting at Danny Glover was uncalled for as they had clapped every other player then booed him. Also Glover Snr came out and tried to speak with them but a lot did not want to know they just wanted to shout abuse." Posted by Vida Nova "Most of the other players are a darned sight better than Danny Glover! Kyle Perry got a great reception, I'm glad at that, and I got to shake hands with Joe Anyon. I thought most of the crowd stayed quiet for Deano, they only mostly shouted responses when he asked a question, like, If I go who will do a better job?. I was annoyed about the firework that was thrown towards the stewards but even angrier that the steward kicked it into the crowd! Why not kick it safely out of the way? I wasn't amongst the main mob, as I was stood on the higher level carpark but my son was amongst it and was by where the firework ended up."

I'm more annoyed...no, angry...that if it had happened at Stoke there would be 12 riot vans and more cs gas than they could load into a transit! Wonder if the Sentivale will run a story on it

This sort of thing always happens when Boca Juniors play River Plate. Eh? What's that you say? Port Vale versus Luton? Well, really. Pull the other one.

Flares haven't been seen at Vale Park since the ones being worn by the fans the last time they won a home game. Actually, thinking about it, this joke works whichever way you look at it.

Robbie Earle on P+G tonight, says that Vale 2-0 win at Macc showed what the Vale are REALLY capable of. Can't see why the Vale fans are rioting. Seems like all is not yet lost. Hold off the revolution.

Sometimes I think ah, it'd be a shame if the Vale went down...but then I see sense and start laughing like a randy sealion at the thought of Vale being dragged down into the North West Counties league.
Goodbye Vale you dirty soap-dodging pigs.
