Incredible how quickly he goes from injury to first-team come-back. It's a shame that some of his colleagues seem to take so long to be back to first team fitness.

Has surprised me how well he's adapted to the Prem. Certainly missed him and never thought I'd say that 12 months ago

That's great, should give the whole team a lift. Can't say I remember the 2-0 win over Manchester City to which the article refers though.

Referring to Pompey’s win I think mate. Oh yeah, you're right, I thought they'd just got their facts wrong. ''Stoke face a Portsmouth side buoyed by last weekend’s 2-0 home win over Manchester City, their first league success in 10 attempts'' It's amazing how closely that could fit either side though.

If your name is on TP's wish list you get fit quicker. Lawrence looked pretty sharp to me when he came on at Hartlepool and can only have got fitter in six weeks since then, still not fit enough though?

this is so frustrating! I love Mama, but Pulis loves him too much. Bye bye Lenny it looks like, absolutly ridiculous, rushing mama back in 1 week, yet Lenny been back 6 and still not 'fit'.

I know how you feal but could you imagine how lawrence feals at the minute ??? Mama needs to be brought on as a sub and pulis needs to open his eyes abit and play lenny on the right.

I wish we'd just be told the truth about Lawrence, it's obvious that there is a disciplinary issue at work with Lawrence and I have no problem with that, I have a problem with being told that Cresswell is a better option. I mean Pulis doesn't really believe that............. does he?

Post by PONTAFCE on Feb 19, 2009 10:37:17 GMT
It makes you wonder doesnt it how lawrence is available but he never gets played now.Like you say we are kept in the dark about an issue that pulis has with him.I carnt see how he carnt be fit after this long now surely he could do 45 minutes atleast?

Well, he'll have to play Lawrence on Saturday, won't he? (although we have been saying that for over a month)
Unless he goes with some kind of horrible Cresswell RM/Pugh LM option.

The Lawro fiasco i feel is a deep situation with an already sorted conclusion, i believe he was caught in a nightclub in the wrong hours of the day & been punished....
Lawro unfortuately is on his way out...
taking into account how quick mama's is o the calling card, its beggars belief why Lawro has taken this long to get 'match fit'....
utter bullshit if you ask me...
jus come out with it pulis, tell us whats gone on, whats the punishment & move on.... simple.

He has to play Lawrence surely. No one knows for sure what went on- is in the past now and he has to start with Etherington being suspended.

Tony Pulis's footballing philosophy is my pet hate. Other things wind me up but generally I am pretty happy go lucky. Honest!!!
I avoid jaffa cakes though - if I eat one I have to eat the box full, a bit like after eight mints.
