I can't see TP loaning out any more of his summer signings, at least so that he can save face. We already have roughly £3-4m worth of players out on loan, potentially loaning out Tonge/Olofinjana/Sonko would make it abundantly clear how bad some of his transfer dealing was in the summer. And he keeps coming out with statements about Olofinjana/Sonko being in contention and looking sharp etc. when everybody knows neither will get another start this season.

He should get a look in over the next three games anyway.

He should get a look in over the next three games anyway. Not if Mr. Cresswell gets his way

So far coming to Stoke must be one of Michael Tonge's worst decisions. What needs to happen for him to get a game here?

I don't think Tonge is that bad.He has been unlucky but I also think that he was an uneccessary signing, did we really need him? Does anyone know how close Lawrence is to being fully fit or is he just not being picked?

I think Tonge is good, unfortunately TP thinks we have much better players here to play ahead of him.

Must be quiet bemusing to be signed for a relatively big fee (for stoke standards) and then only get a few cameos, in which he's done reasonably well, and one league start, in which he didn't do very well. I suppose Pulis watches him everyday in training and has come to the conclusion he's either not good enough or fit enough, he was clearly a bit of a panic buy to make the numbers up.
I'd like him to be given a try on saturday, with our injuries and suspensions he's surely worth a go on the left ? he may not offer the work rate of a cresswell, but vitally, he is a midfielder by trade and is much better with the ball at his feet than Cresser.

On the teamtalk interview he said he didn't want a loan move away, or at least not at the moment. He says he is happy to wait.

Looked good as a sub against sunderland and i wouldnt mind him given a run out on saturday.I think lawrence on the right with tonge maybe on the left would be worth a go but hey we all know pulis.
