It is tough on Hull City and Bullard. Just bad luck that could happen to any team.
I'm with Hackett on this though. Whelan is a decent player who is maybe a liitle restricted by the way we play. Anyone who sat through the Fulham game in November will agree that Bullard gave an individual performance as good as anything we've seen from one of our visitors this season.
Always available, always wanted the ball, popped up all over the pitch, kept them ticking over and kept the ball, as well as looking if he might play a killer pass or get into a good shooting position.
I've never seen Glenn Whelan run a game like that.

I'd love to know how we've been "lucky" to get 28 points... Keep up Chris, its 29

Take no notice, some people just can't accept that you deserve to have the points you have, even if you have struggled of late. No doubt someone who says you have been lucky to get those points thinks we have been unlucky not to be higher in the league. Well I don't think that is true We are where we are because we have a great home record but an abysmal away one. Simple. Personally I'd love both Stoke and Hull to stay up at the expense of a couple of media darlings just to shut their stupid gobs.

From what i saw they deserved the same points out of the game that Stoke were heading for at the bridge with about 2 mins to go.

Agree with Hackett. ( bizarre I know). I just don't get it Trapp's fascination with Whelan-he is the ONLY player to start every game under his regime. Hey, Trapp is one of the greatest coaches in modern times but even the press are bemused. Still.the team are on target so good luck all round.
