www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_4931280,00.html Not good news for JB or Hull. After whats happened in the past and Hulls reluctance to be honest could it be worse???

Imagine spending all that money on midfield talent and not being able to get it on the pitch.

Must be gutting for Bullard and Hull fans, ssn just showed his original knee injury incident playing for fulham, it's sickening Obviously it's a bonus for us that one of our rivals' star players is out, but it's hard to be happy about it.

yeh, Vincent isn't far off Christiano Very true, although I think he's quite a way off CRISTIANO tbh Imo, I don't think there's too much difference between Whelan and Bullard in the way that they try to play but I think Bullard's got a bit more quality on the ball than Whelan and is more likely to turn a game.

Whelan is over rated on here by a lot of people, dont get me wrong i dont think he is a bad player but he isnt the player some people think he is. When he signed people were saying he was a creative box to box midfielder but i havent seen that from him in the 12 months he has been here, he is a better James O'Connor in my opinion no more no less.

TP thinks Glenn Whelan is better than £3M Oli, £2M Tonge and £1.5M Tom Soares so he must be quite good.

I've got to say I agree with Gary on this one :-\ , Whelan disappoints me at times, especially with his corner taking. I would rather have Salif in the centre. Imo, Whelan is nowhere near a fit Bullard

It's a setback, but hopefully he won't be out for too long. Going back to see Steadman, and i have full faith.
Still delighted we signed him, and i have no doubt he'll come good for us.

Bullard's first injury was so serious that him asking Fulham for 3-4yrs on big money was ridiculous, only bettered by Hull's desperation signing of him. Hull have been so lucky to get 28 points...I am pig sick about it. They should be down below us really. Also I am afraid that the Bullard situation is just another reason why the majority of what is posted on this board is uneducated rubbish. When will people learn that those who see the players in training every day know best, and those who don't DON'T! How many people are still moaning about Mama thesedays?! The beauty of football is that everyone has an opinion, but the ugliness is most of them are made from a basis on no substance (media, pundits, journalists included).

I feel genuinely sorry for both Bullard, and Hull. The club had the guts to go out and spend big, and deserve all the good luck that should go with it. He may not have been first choice of many on this board, but without his injury, he could have been a very good signing. I'll admit to hoping that we'd manage to get him. We do need to have a bit of sympathy. We've spent ourselves on players who have been crocked from the start, or injury prone. Kitson, Davies spring to mind. Other too, have signed and turned out nothing more than liabilty. Even Clint Hill, super players when fit, fell in the catergory of waste of money or at least dodgy signing. We've been lucky with Fuller too.
