Anybody interested in trying to arrange for as many US Stokies as possible to meet up at an Aztex game this year?

i'm in the process of moving to cincinnati (waiting on a visa... which is proving trickier to get than first thought). Hopefully be out there by mid april.
I looked at the aztex schedule the other day... boy, they get around! I'd be interested... depending on where it was etc...
are you anywhere near pinehurst? me and a few friends in cincinnati are planning on golfing around pinehurst in july and would appreciate and tips on where to stay etc...

Sorry, I'm in Upstate South Carolina, but there are some amazing golf courses around here, particularly up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. One of the other US Stokies has suggested the game against the Charleston Battery in July, but I'd also like to get out to one of the gamesin Austin. I plan on setting up a group on MeetUp.com to see if we can start to get something organized. Richard

Just tried to set something up on MeetUp.com and discovered that they now have a subscription plan, so let's try to organize it through The Oatcake.
By the way, I'll be back in the UK April 2nd and wondering how easy it would be to get a ticket for the game away at Brazil on the 4th!

Would definately be interested in the game at Charleston, I'm in Virginia so that is not too big a trip. A trip down to Austin also sounds good, but would have to be later in the year for me as I'm saving me pennies for a trip back to the UK.

Game against the Carolina Railhawks (Cary, NC) might be a good halfway point. Game is Saturday August 1st (two days after game in Charleston).

The Austin Aztex today announced they had signed their first pro player for the 2009 Season. Miguel Gallardo, PDL Goalkeeper of the Year and Southern Conference All-Star, signed a two year contract with the Aztex. Miguel has been the starting ’keeper for the Aztex U23 team for the past season, conceding only eight goals and leading the League with nine shutouts.
This keeper looks great. What the f%&% is a shut out????
