Having already given up on getting a ticket in the away end I had a look at getting one in the home end and have noticed they don't go on general sale until the 24th Feb. Living in Birmingham I often get cheap Villa tickets as they rarely fill the ground but for some reason this game has particularly tight limits on home fans i.e they must have bought tickets to at least 5/6 home games before to be a 'priority customer', any idea why? Just hope I can get one!!

Why should Stoke fans know? However have a look at the league table and there may, just may, be a clue as to why.

Yes but there weren't any similar limits against Wigan etc.
Just asking!

Could be due to it being a lacal(ish) derby, and them anticipating Stokies buying tickets in the Villa end due to them not selling out at home, but Stoke fans selling out quick. Wigan fans never sell out away, so there wouldn't be a threat of them ever buying tickets in the home end of a team. Just a theory...

In a kind of similar situation - I go Birmingham Uni and having a lads weekend for the villa game, taking it in along the way. But, only one of the lads stopping over is a Stokie, so I only got 2 tickets seeing as it would have been harsh getting tickets for my other mates in the Stoke end when they aren't really Stokies. So the others were going to try the Villa end, but looks like it ould be a rush for them now. As has been said, they haven't done this on previous visits, seems harsh to introduce it now

I'll be amazed if Villa don't sell out. They are 3rd and going well until today. Lets hope for a Mama special in the last minute, eh?
