If we do not win an away game we will get relegated.
Of the seven home games below. I predict at least 3 Nil Nil Draws.
Portsmouth Bolton Blackburn middlesboro Newcastle west Ham Wigan

Mate, I look at the games, not the teams. I do not see us winning 6 of those 7. It would be a monumental achievement, especially with teams coming from a draw.

Aye, I'm sure Pulis will read it and thank you for your advice - have you thought of applying for a job as his advisor? ;D

Look mate,we will win at least a couple of aways, prob Brazil and Dull,we`ll get enough points at home and I reckon we`ll finish on about 44/45 points,if thats not enough I`ll be amazed.Relax mate.Look at the players we`ve now got,the spirit of us lot and the teams around us .We WILL be fine.Trust me

Lakeland, he may do? It seems like a plan to me. Try and win an away game!
I do not fancy going into every home game for the rest odf the season thinking if we don't win this were ******.

oh for Christ's sake, I don't think every voice that says, "hey our away form is shite" is a voice calling for pulis' head!!
Look, we need at least one away win to stay up, I would say a minimum of 5 pts from our remaining aways will be required. It can be done, definately, but the way we have been playing away from home, it looks about as likely as a comet the size of jupiter hitting the eartgh by nine o'clock this morning (and yes I do knopw what time it is!)!!!!

It is irrelevant whether wokingclasshero is pro or anti Pulis. The sad thing is that someone actually thinks they have so much insight that they go on a message board asking the manager of the Premier League football club to read their post and learn something they didn't know. Football message boards are for fans to talk and argue with one another - I doubt if any of us have ever come up with any tactical suggestion which would be news to any manager of any club. ;D

I'm sure that Tony Pulis is as, if not more, aware of the mathematical implications than all the rest of us put together - and he has, potentially, much more to lose than any of us if the worst happens.

I'm not sure he has much to lose at all. He's on a rolling 12 month contract which will be paid off in full if he is ever sacked, though it is highly unlikely this would happen even if we went down. If it did he'd join the list of recycled managers who always seem to get a job.
Given we are in the depths of recession with many losing their jobs then I'd say he has a lot less to lose than many at the moment. Even more reason to give it a go away from home!
ps I'm not saying he should be sacked!

Crikey, do some people on here really think we're going to get another 20 pts + this season. I'd rather depend on some of the other teams having really tough run-ins and 38-40pts being enough! (11 pts from our home games and 3 or 4 away draws?) Portmouth 1pt, Bolton 3pts, Blackburn 1pt, Middlesboro 3pt, Newcastle 1pt, West Ham 1pt, Wigan 1pt. I also think the Hull & West Brom games could be tough.

MR PULIS IF YOU'RE STILL READING
Next season win all your home games and at least eight away games and win all the FA cup games (only 6 matches) and we'll have then come in the top four and be FA cup holders too.
PS Feck me this football management lark is a piece of pish
