I think most people would welcome these two going out on loan, but I don't really see the good it would do. Neither of them is particularly young, and they've both been there and done that at Championship level, so it wouldn't be an experience gaining excercise. Sonko has been getting reasonably regular first team games, so in theory he should be needed by the club. As for Olofinjana, I wish he was given more first team chances as he looked very good in the early season.
We need as much strength in depth as we can get, and if these two are providing it, and some healthy competition for places, then that's all for the best.

STOKE City pair Ibrahima Sonko and Seyi Olofinjana have been told they are staying put at the Britannia Stadium as Championship clubs try to cherry pick the club’s better fringe players.
Sonko expressed his interest in a loan move this week to improve his prospects of a long-term career at Stoke, while Olofinjana has been linked with a possible short-term switch to Sheffield United.
But manager Tony Pulis, who was ready to loan Sonko to Birmingham before failing to sign a centre-half last month, now says neither player is moving this season.
“No, Seyi is going nowhere, nor Sonks. We need them here and that was shown last week when Sonks came on in the first half at Sunderland.
“I felt he did well for us. He’s just been unlucky that Abdoulaye Faye and Ryan Shawcross have been in such good form.
“He has just lacked that run of games in the team that every player needs to show their true worth.”
But winger Tom Soares looks set to remain on loan at Charlton for at least another month when his initial arrangement expires this weekend.
Pulis is keen for Soares to continue his rehabilitation with Charlton, albeit at the foot of the Championship, after enduring a tough time establishing himself at Stoke following last summer’s £2m move from Crystal Palace.
“I understand Charlton want to keep him and I have no problem with that,” said Pulis, “because we’ll now have a 24-hour recall on him anyway if we need him back here.
“Apparently he’s done smashing down there and that will do him the world of good.”
Carl Dickinson is also poised to continue on hire to Leeds as he approaches the end of a successful first month at Elland Road, while fellow Stoke defender Andrew Davies has joined Preston on loan for the next four weeks.
“I believe Carl is going great guns at Leeds,” Pulis added, “and it’s time Andrew got out and got some games in.
“Like Carl, he won’t be too far away up at Preston and so we will be able to monitor him over the next few weeks.”
Meanwhile, Pulis has returned from a European scouting trip vowing to return regularly abroad between now and the end of the season to check on players recommended by trusted scouts such as Gary Penrice and Lindsay Parsons.
“I’ve been abroad watching players we’ve been monitoring over the last three months or so because there’s no substitute for seeing them for yourself,” he said.
“On most Sundays between now and the end of the season I shall be jumping on a plane to somewhere.”

i dont think we will see much more of oli! its funny how he was one of the first names on the team sheet up until the 5-0 drubbing at the shit, where he asked to be bought off complaining of a " bad back" where he clearly bottled it. ever since then tp has steered well clear of him, as we all know tp doesnt like a bottler who aint up for the fight
