Just had a new deal with Nike, and get to vote on the strip they want for next season. Wish we would do this! www.cpfc.co.uk/page/News/0,,10323~1556109,00.html

Lets face it LA COCK CHAVIF are toss, we should be looking for a new kit supplier, there kits fall apart.

Why is that a good idea? Wouldnt take much for Brighton fans to hijack it would it?
Edit: Seen the kits and neither of them look too bad, my point above was say if they had 5 or 6 to choose from and some were dreadful.

Though I think if we did this, we wouldn't of had the dreadful away kit, and would of gave fans a choice, rather than being told what were given.

Quite like the option 1 for the home kit. It is asymetrical in that there is no central stripe but two stripes either side of the centre line. Very classy. Don't know if it would work so well if one of the colours was white though.

I don't like any of those kits anyway if thats the kind of strip that Nike offers. I personally really like this years kit!

If I remember correctly, one of our strips was chosen by fan vote a few years ago. I think it was when we were kit supplied by Puma, but I wouldn't swear to it.
Strange that we haven't chosen our kit by the same method since, as you'd think it would be a great way to avoid a dodgy one like this season's offering.

Would much prefer it to the 'you get what your given' style.

Wasn't it the white one with the giant red stoke badge on that was designed by a fan in 2007?

Why not comission the fans forum to design the fucking thing ?
Its not hard, they know what we want and the kit supplier could tweak it to match
As for 'Le Coq' - Sums up the perochial attitude to business that pervades Stoke City

We deffo did this and it can't have been that long ago because I remember there were 4 kits in the Brit club shop that were the different options. And it must have been the Brit club shop cause there's no way they could have fit 4 tops in the Victoria one.

[I think the last time we were able to choose our away kit was actually the first spell with le coq sportif and we chose that blue Chesterfield kit.

It was about ten years ago when we had the chance to pick the kits, it was the asics ones. The one that won looked like a Sheff Utd kit, it had a big shitty white band across the middle just for the Britannia logo. Its the kit we won the autoglass in at Wembley against Bristol. I doubt we'll get to choose our new kit when that comes out in a few months time.

I remember when we had a parade around the pitch with the options at half time, it is a good idea, the fans are the ones that buy the strips so they should have a say in how they look

I am happy with our Le Cock strips and hope we keep them next season, though a rumour is in the air we could be going with Umbro.

Bristol city realised this when the worst, one with the funniest collar in the world, was chosen by thousands in front of the rest. They cancelled voting and never made the kit.

design by committee gave us the Austin Allegro. Very true Skip! You can only vote for so much! Having said that I would like to have a Prime Minister that has been voted in. Oh in a perfect world!

This year's kits are absolutely woeful. A vote would be good, I'd have gone for something like last season's. Never mind about it looking just like the Sheffield United one, it looked just like a Stoke kit should.
