I'll be fuming if he doesn't start and will certainly join in with the chant. 28,000 fans chanting it might just make Pulis realise things have to change

Radio Stoke say he was due to start in a behind closed doors friendly against Crewe this morning - but it was called off.

we should just start to blast it out as soon as the names for the subs are read out

if Pulis doesn't pick up on the hint - start chanting WE WANT LAWRENCE...WE WANT LAWRENCE..... I know it's not what you'd normally sing for a player but its more a song you would sing in protest etc?

Definitely worth doing. I know he should support the players on the pitch etc. but the Lawrence issue is beyond a farce if he can't get a start ahead of Cresswell and Pugh.

I'll be fuming if he doesn't start and will certainly join in with the chant. 28,000 fans chanting it might just make Pulis realise things have to change It will simply make Tone more determined NOT to play him, if we were all to sing 'Don't pick Lawrence, he is crap' he will be in the team the following week. Our Tone invented the word stubborn! haha

I'm in for that! I'll be fuckin fuming if Cresswell is played ahead of Lawrence. But even if he plays Lawrence, good old Tone will find a sice little place on the left for Cressy.

I also think Liam should play, but before his injury he hardly set the Prem league on fire did he.

"we were going to play liam last week but weather prevented it, I just felt against a team like Portsmouth whove got fantastic players that can kill you Cressy gave us a bit more. Kitson needs goals so i felt mama was key for us in getting the ball upn to him for people to get around him . Diao is the best holding midfielder in the premier league so hes got to play, ive got the best chairman in the world, the fans just need to get behind us on days like today, kelly ahs played on the left before, the referess favour big teams like Portsmouth when they play away

By singing that out, your only going to vastly decrease the chances of him even getting a sub apperance.
your'e forgetting we have a incompetant pedantic c*nt in charge.
PULIS OUT

defo lawrence to start. cresswell has to play because of no delap or etherington. and because of the injuries at the back, pugh will be playin left back.

gussie you missed the devious bit its not beyond him to play him then take him off as a two fingered salute if he knows hes not fit which he cant be of course the only way he will get fit is playing
Its sad but now i just dont believe anything he says and see alterior motive in every selection decision but as they say you reep what you sow
Come on Cressie prove me wrong seal the game against pompey ! by dancing round David james running on to a precison through ball from salif to win the game after Kitsons first from a precison corner

Pulis does crumble under crowd pressure - I'm sure I remember big chants for Adam Rooney which he gave in to.

I have to say the constant "Rooney, Rooney, Rooney" chants were ridiculous for a player that had scored a few goals for the reserves and Ireland u-19s. They were probably actually detrimental to his performances due to the weight of expectation. It's a different kettle of fish when last season's player of the season is left out at the expense of Richard Cresswell.

I would bet you a penny to a pound that had Adam Rooneys name been almost anything other than Rooney it wouldnt of been chanted Never rated him even after those goals at Brighton
