Outer Mongolia Wanderers are after a centre-half. It's very nice there this time of year.

Mr Sonko needs far more than a loan move to force himself into TP's first team plans. I think he was a panic buy, as were Tom Soares and Michael Tonge. None of whom now appear to be considered good enough for regular first team duty by Mr Pulis.(A little surprising when TP seems to think Cresswell is but that's another story). Bottom line appears to be approx £5.5m (plus wages) peed down the drain on just these three. And I've left Kitson out of the equation at this point. Let's hope he gets some of it back in the Summer sales. Perhaps we should start a thread on value for money on all of TP's signings, bought presumably to retain our Premiership status.

www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_4915244,00.html Sky reckon some free agent Argentinian centre-back is "closing in" on a move to the Premier League. Don't suppose it'll be us but Pulis can't resist a centre-half or five. He can, however, resist foreigners with no experience of the English game.

Sonko gives away toooooooooo many silly penalties, he had a reputation for it coming from Reading before he came to Stoke and jesus christ he delivered at Blackburn - numpty. Big squad now with lots of players who all want to play football every week in the prem, surley some loan spells are in order

We won't let him go, simply because we need strength in depth, we need a large squad to cover for injuries and suspensions. And to be fair Sonko played well at Sunderland, and a couple of other games this season. I don't think he's as woeful as people make out on this message board.

The bloke is quite in order. At least he wants to play, not sit on his arse and get payed for it. he has however, not convinced me he is what we need at the moment. He's not really likely to get a game regularly especially with Faye, Shawx, Higgy, Cort available. Yes, I did say Cort.

He has one game where he's average (Fulham, Sunderland) then has games where he's shocking (Derby, Blackburn, Hartlepool). Can't head it (50p piece head), awful on the ball, makes rash challenges (a la Blackburn), awful positioning (usually 5 yards ahead of the rest of the back 4) and when he does head it, he heads it back to our own goal. In all, he's awful. I'll pay for his train fare.

Yes, he was shocking at Blackburn and at Hartlepool, i'm not denying that, though I still think he's an average - OK player in my opinion. How is he expected to play well when he does play if he's not getting games for weeks on end. I still don't think we'll let him go.

It's good to see him eager to play (a refreshing attitude in the modern game), though there is no denying the lad is woeful.
If we sold him for 250k I'd of thought we'd have done well.

We shouldn't be letting anyone go anywhere till the end of the season.
However, Sonko doesn't need a move he needs to work on his game as sadly all of the points made by Denty above are spot on. He seems unable to pass the ball to some one in the same coloured shirt and at his worst (Derby, Hartlepool) he has looked scared to head it. He is big and strong and seems athletic enough at times, so he should really be working to improve rather than thinking of moving anywhere.
Perhaps he does need TO move a bit more effectivly on the pitch.

Worst time for him to say this really, he might be a bit daft. An injury to Shawcross or a suspension for Abdy and he'll be in the first team, no doubt about it. What competition is there?
