If he doesn't start Lawrence we've got no hope! It would mean Cresswell/Pugh or Cresswell/Camara on the wings!

If there is no Lawrence for Pompey then something is seriously wrong there. With Ethers and Delap out, it must mean that he will start, however Pulis will probably go for Cresswell on the right and Pugh on the left.
I bloody hope not.

to be honest, the fact that he didn't start against sunderland made me think there is more to this than his injury

to be fair i bet he had plans to play kitson and liam against spurs, sunderland and citeh at some stage but injuries and dismissals enforced different changes

All the fans want Liam to start against Pompey, with all our playmakers out we have to, im not saying he's our only hope, certainly the biggest!
...but if he doesnt start & the result doesnt go our way, then theres a real problem.

Basically, if he does not start against Pompey, when will he ever play?
I appreciate why Tone may not want to play Ethers and Liam together - especially in an away game - but with no Ethers, surely he has to play Liam?
I trust Pulis implicitly, but if he does not start against Pompey, then it surely is not for footballing reasons. That would be a mistake in my opinion because we just need a win however we get it.

i would, his decision to not play lawrence could come back to haunt him if we are relegated, it could cost him his job as people will use lawrences absence as a reason we went down.
maybe its just a pulis masterclass in man-management by not using him allthough he's available, maybe he's just making lawrence realise he isnt first choice, thus getting the very best out of him when he does return as he tries to make a point, a liam lawrence of Last season could be the difference of staying up or going down.
Liam if you are reading this FFS FIND THAT FUCKING FORM FROM LAST SEASON!!!! ;D
