Pretty much the same as it is now.
Average manager, done well to get us this far, made some decent signings this season in Etherington, Kitson and Beattie alongside some shockers such as Sonko and appears to have created a good team spirit but could be undoing it all with bizarre tactics and team selections away from home and an undieing love for workhouse-like championship standard players whilst leaving our premiership players on the bench or just not in the squad.
Once thought he was great but now he's just turning into your average blame the officials for everything premier league manager. Yes we've had some shocking decisions go against us, but we've also had a couple of let offs as a result of poor reffing so it does average itself out.
As things are if we do stay up, it will be more down to luck than judgement on the managers part. If we stay up but things change, such as playing best players in their best positions rather than his personal favourites, he will go up a lot in my estimation.

So does that mean a little better than what you think of him now We've got the palyers to get us out of the situaiton we're in but the managers stubborness not to play them will, in my opinion be the downfall. It doesnt have to be this way though, if he swallowed his pride and played Lawrence as its been well documented over the past days and get either Kitson or Camara to partner Beattie up front and take the game to the oppostion when we play away then we might just do it. Kitson would be the man for me - I bet hes wondering what he has to do to get a game right now !

If we stay up it'll be a good achievement and he'll deserve a lot of credit - although we have spent a lot of money and he has made some baffling decisions.
If we go down, as much as I'm generally pro-Pulis, serious questions will have to be asked. I don't necessarily think he should be sacked, but his position should certainly be reviewed.

if we do go down, do you think the crowds will drop massively, because it would be great to keep this up in whatever league

Yeah, I think that's fair, RVD. I think Coates will certainly have a very serious look at things if we go down. But there are so many ways the season could go from here, it's probably much too early to speculate. If we do go down, I just hope we'll at least point to a final 3 months when we didn't say 'if only' quite as often as we have done in the last 3 months.
