scored tonight for Ghana, i know there's been a few rumours on here about one of our scouts out there being impressed by him, if so do you think he's worth a punt, or is a 28 year old league 1 striker not the way forward?
Of course it's only speculation and chances are we may not even make an approach for him, but in my opinion we CAN get better, he certainly isn't a 20 goal a season striker i don't think, and despite scored i think 17 in 51 games at forest, which averages to 1:3 is he going to score at that ratio in the step up to the championship?
In terms of scoring goals regularly and looking likely to score, he is better than what we have to partner fuller.
Now i like mama i think what he brings to our style of play is important, and although he doesn't beat player's and produce a great finish, his work-rate, flick-on's, hold up play and threw-ball's can prove invaluable at times, but i suppose as anyone would say a striker NEEDS to score goals, and at the moment mama isn't.
As for Parkin well again i think he's got it there, and he has obvious talent, but unfortunately his lifestyle seems to be more important than improving his game, and unless he can shed a few pounds, get his fitness up, and offer his obvious talent, then it's just wages that we shouldn't be paying.
As for vince well, i just think we've got a lost cause with him, at times he has shown glimmer's of hope, i remember his fairly good pre-season, and the start of last season, he looked good and quite affective with sweeney, but i just don't think he can offer what we need, move him along tone, free up the wages and give him a chance, to push his career on.
There is better option's out there imo in terms of striker's, or even just bring a left sided player in and let cressy a natural striker partner riccy, either way aside of a creative central midfielder, and a left sided player, i think we still need a striker because relying solely on fuller up-front like we have been when cressy plays wide left midfield isn't the way forward, and eventually hoping that he can do the business up-front alongside someone who isn't scoring, could come back to bite us on the arse, in the latter part of the season.

Badgers can scamper very quickly ...some have been known to play with discarded kids footballs....
However, I think Agogo is somewhat of a gamble. We would have to pay a sizeable amount for his services.I therefore doubt if he's worth the risk and Pulis is quoted as laughing at this particular rumour.

I'd prefer Nathan tyson from Forest,or Aaron McLean from Peterborough.
