I know footballers are simple but ...
It helps if we have 11 players on the pitch. Idiots
Etherington, Delap, Fuller

It seems we have a discipline issue if you ask me. It needs addressing. Fast.

Every time a player gets sent off away, our performance visibly nosedives. The last 15 minutes today was simply agony - not one meaningful attack to equalise. Even David Healy scored.

Well you can't say for certain what would have happened BUT we had a chance of getting something until Ethers was stupid. Like at WHU when you know who did you know what...we had a good chance of getting something.

One rule for one!! Our players have all deserved to be sent off. However, a weekend never passes without some player at another club doing the same and remaining unpunished. One other point, it was a good job Lawrence didn't play today as he could not have been replaced after an hour for a fresh pair of legs. We would have been down to 9 men in all effect.

What does my head in is that, although it can be argued that with our disciplinary record, we don't deserve to win games, neither do some of these six-pointer opponents. I travelled back with the Sunderland Southern Supporters Club, all of whom thought they were abysmal, very lucky on the day and Cisse a disgrace. They won only because of our 10 men (Ethers not having been booked for five years!) and triple injuries in the first quarter of the game. So our bad luck and indiscipline allows poor opposition to win again. How often have our opponents had three injured so early and one sent off? Yes indeed.
