www.voetbal24.nl/index.php?action=n&id=50422&etitel=czozMToiU3BlbGVyIFN0b3Jtdm9nZWxzIFRlbHN0YXIgem9layI7Turns out he hasn't got his club's permission to be at Stoke on trial - and they're massively pissed off with him Attacker Johan Pater has left Telstar without the approval of his employer for a training period abroad.
It has not been confessed at which club he stays. The club suspects however that it is Stoke City.
There Pater, has already spent a training period in April of last year when he was still under contract at FC Volendam.
Stoke end up in the English First Division.
Petrels Telstar have tried to make contact with the disappeared footballer, but he is not reachable.
Number fourteen in the Jupiler League considers himself concerning the situation.

According to Knowlsey he was crap. That seems to have been the opinion of most of the team as well.

Yeah - I saw Knowlsey's opinion this morning. He didn't sound up to much.
I thought his face looked familiar though, I vaguely remember reports of his trial last spring.
Presumably Pulis or Rudge must've thought he was worth a second look?
Sounds like there's some crossed wires about his contractual status?

www.stormvogelstelstar.nl/index.aspx?pub=601Johan pater follow a training training period without approval of StormvogelsTelstar abroad. The club where pater stays is unknown. The technical control of the white lions suspects that it 1st the division club Stoke concern city from United Kingdom. Several attempts get contact with pater have not succeeded. The club considers himself concerning the arisen situation. Sounds like they may well sack him then!! I feel pretty bad to be honest. Oh well. Good work FM- the lad told me his surname was Johan Patterson. Didn't do a very good job of concealing his identity!!

He's no longer welcome at his club Pater no longer welcome at Petrels Telstar Last week Johan Pater of Petrels Telstar was suddenly missing, nobody knew where the player was. He let hear nothing of itself and has proved to have been on training period in the United Kingdom. The training period at the English Stoke City, he had passed on by means of his girlfriend to the club. Petrels Telstar had given no authorisation for the training period, because the club from nothing knew. The ex-player of Go Ahead Eagles and FC Volendam is no longer welcome on sports park mount and is possibly in search of another club. How his training period has gone, it has not been confessed.

what i find strange about this is that no body is screaming out. What this guy has done (if it is all to be believed) is a damn site worse than what bangoura did to us last season.
not only has this guy gone awol from his club but he has gone awol to have a trial with another club, that kind of lack of loyalty shoudl be stamped out, and I personaly wouldnt want him to sign for stoke even if he was as godo as drogba

AMSTERDAM - petrels Telstar and Johan pater is from each other. Last week the person whose birthday it isperson whose birthday it is person whose birthday it is followed attacker without authorisation of petrels Telstar a training period at the English Stoke city. Consultation between technical manager Cees glass and paters matter observer Eelco greenness could not remove the dissatisfaction about that of petrels Telstar Monday. Pater played this season on amateur basis for petrels Telstar. He now loves its condition on level at the second elftal its old club AGOVV apeldoorn. Looks like he has officially left now. Silly boy...never speak to a journo, thats my advice

Even he was good enough which it seems he is isn't do we really want someone who would walk out on a club for possibly something better at a moments notice, while under contract, even Sammy didn't pull that stunt. I think the last thing we need is a player who obviously has the IQ of Ashley Cole but little talent.
I can see his explanation to his former club, did you meet representatives of Stoke. No, I just saw all these players kicking a ball and asked them if I could join in, they were more than happy to let me but at no time did they talk to me, tell me they were a pro side or discuss any possible moves there. I did speak to their coach but again we only discussed every day things, the state of the Welsh mining industry and the tulips bulb crop this year. I did play in a game but again I believed it was just a kick about and again no contact was made with players of this club.
It could almost be Ashley Cole.
