Dadason suffered from the hype and, perversely, by the success of his debut, which only compounded it. He was sold to as as the missing piece of the jigsaw who was going to shoot us to promotion, and his heroic, Roy of The Rovers last minute debut goal only served to raise expectations further. As a result, perhaps he wasn't given enough time to adapt.
That said, after his totally gutless performance in the Potteries derby the follwoing season, I was glad to see the back of him, and would rather have Mama any day of the week.

Yeah, it’s safe to say he was fucking average. Of course his 19 substitute appearances make it a less impressive 10 in 38, add up all the stats on that link and he comes out at an (on the face of it) OK, 1 goal in every 4 but let’s not forget that this was in the third division.
The overhype of his arrival, his (at the time) huge wages, his obvious lack of effort and commitment and the fact he slagged off Stoke on Trent while the people who inhabit were paying for him and his crippled knee to be elsewhere, make him a little bit of a cunt.

Give him a free header & was in where he struggled, big time, was where he was being challenged by big div 3 defenders.
for me he was Gudjons biggest error. we had Thorne what was needed was (as proven later) was Gunnlauggsson (or similair).
Dadsaons wages wouldnt have been disimilair to Arnur's & if GT had gone from the little baldie instead summer 2000 I doubt the Icelandic board would have refused him.
we would, imho, have gone up - even with the silly 532 - 2001 instead of a year later.
