sometimes it doesn't help the fella from whydelilah goes on and says "we advise you to stay away from Stoke town centre" hardly a good impression
i like reading the other fans opinions on it, but people pick up on it and see it as threatening

i know it is helpful, but perhaps there is a better way of presenting it. e.g. Stoke town centre is dominated by home fans, pubs welcoming away fans are located *somewhere*

IMHO everything outside the ground should be welcoming, respectful , and generally friendly.
Inside it should be noisy, intimidating, and hostile.
Nothing wrong with scaring the opposition shitless during the game but before and after that fans of opposing teams should be able to congregate in peace.

That guy they are on about in the Box at the Brit who got attacked..I witnessed all what went on... It was a night match, Sunderland went 1-0 up and this big meathead came outside to jeer and taunt the fans in the Boothen. About two or three Stoke fans in the John smiths ran up and one manged to get a few punches in at him as he tried desperately to pull the sliding door to..The cops came and ignored the stokies and went into the room of the meathead.. You never saw him again...

Was that the match Delap broke his leg?
I think Pericard scored that night too. Beggars belief.
