senegal did not qualify thank goodness.. if we were missing that many players im sure we would be allowed a game or two off, like when the national games are on and games are postponed? Then again, we are controlled by the FA.. and we are Stoke.

Mama won't play for Mali, after his treatment at the last african cup of Nations, where he came back from the horror he suffered in Togo to barely feature

Plus I believe a couple of our Senegal players are either retired from International Football or just don't get picked?
Amdy Faye and Salif Diao.
However, as mentioned, Senegal didn't qualify. Olofinjana going would be good for him, that's if he is still on our books.

Salif had started to get back into the squad I think.

Won't be a problem for us in 2012, all but perhaps Sonko, if he stays for so long, will have retired. Remember, we have a very old team.

Won't be a problem for us in 2012, all but perhaps Sonko, if he stays for so long, will have retired. Remember, we have a very old team. They aren't particularly old but they're getting on but we do have a good mix and players that for 2/3 to come will do an excellent job for us. Barring Matteo the oldest are Sorro and Delap at 32. 32 is nothing for a keeper and Delap imo still has a good few years in him yet. Diao and Am Faye are 31 so again both have a couple of years in them. Ab Faye is 30 as are Beattie and Higgi. So with a bit more youth mixed I think we have an excellent age to the squad.
