Serves him right. He should of gone on the day but in fairness to the ref who has looked at it again he has made the right decision. Just a shame the same wasnt done for ronaldo and rooney.

What is annoying is that we didn't get the advantage on the day.
Granted we worked hard on Saturday to get a lead and hold on, but surely we wouldn't of lost to Man U if they had 9 men........................... and how can the look at SWP and ban him, then not do the same to Rooney, Ronaldo ?

As I said on the other thread, lets hope its about 50,000 volts. That would make the little fucker jump in the air like he did when Rory tackled him.

Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.
The charge relates to an incident involving Rory Delap in the first half of Man City's 1-0 defeat against Stoke on Saturday.
No action was taken at the time as referee Martin Atkinson did not see what happened, but video footage has now been studied.
Atkinson has informed the FA that he would have sent Wright-Phillips off if he had seen the incident.
Delap was shown a red card later in the first half for a foul on Wright-Phillips but Stoke emerged 1-0 winners thanks to James Beattie's header on 45 minutes.
Wright-Phillips has until 6pm on Thursday to admit or deny the charge, while a Regulatory Commission will hear the case on Friday.

My only question: Why was Ronaldo not charged for doing the same thing? The ref reportedly did not see this. So why is ROnaldo's incident different to SWP's?
On the other hand.. GOOD NEEWS!

Good decision - except we didn't benefit and now he'll be suspended for the Middlesborough and Portsmouth games.

I think it stinks TBH. How can they charge Wright-Phillips, yet Bosingwa gets away scott free for his Kung-Fu attack? Ronaldo and Rooney both commited the same offence, yet no charges? It makes no fucking difference to us now if he gets a three game ban so I couldn't really give a shit, but it seem there is one rule for the "big" clubs and another for everyone else. At least even games law makers still have the common sense to know that Manchester City, despite all their new found wealth, are not one of the "big" clubs but just a bunch of also rans like the rest of us. ;D

It's good that SWP is being brought to account for his actions, which in my mind deserved a red card (as did Rorys actions), but if the card was shown on the day, maybe we would of won 2,3 nil ? Good on the ref for putting his hand up, but the goal difference could help us towards the end of the season ?
Modified; TWICE! For fookin spellin!! In't beer great !!! ;D

Why wasn't Ronaldo or Rooney charged then?!?! is it because the referee saw the incident and deciced it wasnt a red,so there was no further action?

You've got to laugh at those Citeh fans. They need to make their minds up, one minute they reckon what a massive club they are and then they're saying the bigger clubs get off with more. They are correct in that Ronaldo and Rooney get away with stuff but two wrongs don't make a right and that little fucking midget deserves his ban for his petulance.

Didn't mind SWP when he first came on the scene with City. But as per usual they get above themselves and I cannot stand him now.

Think this is the best description of the corrupt FA i've seen.
It stinks. The FA stink. Every fucking inept incompetent arsehole whistling a merry tune to the support of every slice of foul and abusive language from the Scouse cretin known as Rooney, stinks. Every blind eye and deaf ear of every useless linesman stinks. How can a linesman, near enough to stick his flag up Bosingwas's anus not have seen the stamp in the back, or Rooney's elbow, or FakeRon's lash outs? The whole crumbling edifice, which is the FA, is rife with amorality, fetid obsequiousness, rank cheating, and a stench which would make the turds of hell, waft across like Chanel No.5. They are not worth the electronic impulses that would send an email charging down the wires, they are unworthy of the spittle which would glue a stamp to a stiff note of censure, they are the 21st century version of the worst excesses within the game, not one imprisoned felon in any of HMPrisons has sullied the beautiful game as much as these imbeciles.
