whats the chances of us getting our first 3 points away on saturday sunderland where the worst side i have seen at the brit this season by far .i know they have parted company with keano and that brasia guy who is now in charge has improved performances some what but with the right squad choices and the same desire and commitment as the lads gave against man city i feel we could be in for a steady 2 -0 victory at the stadium of light providing we can keep 11 men on the pitch that is once we can get that illusive first away win under our belts we will ride on the back of the extra confidence it will give us to go on and win a few more games away i agree with pulis when he says we need at least three away victories so lets start this saturday
you all know my predictions come true ha ha

I think to a great extent it depends on how Pulis approaches the game.
I'm sure that even when he is at his most defensive minded, he still hopes that we can nick a goal whilst we attempt to maintain a clean sheet at all costs.
However it hasn't worked so far this season, and Pulis after the Spurs game suggested that he was seriously considering if this was indeed the correct way to continue setting up when we are away from home.
Personally I think we have a far better chance of coming away with a win on Saturday if we take the game to Sunderland than if we were to sit back and try and hold on for as long as possible, with the hope of nicking something late on.
I also get the feeling that there is a good spirit in the camp at the moment, and it might do the lads the world of good to be given the opportunity to be let off the leash and for them to be encouraged go out and show what they can do rather than them being terrified of the opposition.

i don't see why we can't get our first away win at sunderland, our team is alot stronger than when we played them at the brit. i hope your right about your predictions always being right daviesall 2-0 would be nice but i'll go 2-1 to stoke, beattie and shawcross.

I think that only West Brom were poorer down The Brit, and that includes the cup visits of Rotherham and Derby. As said, though Sbragia seems to have made a big difference to them. Having said that, our squad has improved dramatically since then, and the arrival of Etherington and Beattie aswell as the resurgance in form of Whelan, Pugh and the collosal Shawcross will indeed see our first away win of the season.
