With the strikers now at our disposal you would hope that we can now hold the ball up a bit more for 90 mins of every game and take the pressure off the defence moreso than we have been able to hitherto.
I still think another midfielder would have been useful to that end but surely, with a run of relatively weaker teams to come our points haul will improve.
Given that we have achieved a point per game, if we continue to do that (ie no improvement) we will finish with 38 points.
Is it reasonable to expect for the reasons above we will improve our points ratio?
Bolton in 12th have achieved 1.12 pts/game. If we up it to that alone we will finish on 40 points.

I'm extremely confident that we will stay up. Especially when there is west brom, hull, and middlesborough in the shitter.

I think it would be very unfair on us if we did go down, there are a few teams at the bottom this year who just don't look bothered. You most certainly can't say that about us.

With the games coming up the points are definatley there to be had, I would have felt a lot more confident if we had pulled in a decent central midfielder.
