Let's not forget Simmo who played in 3/4 of the games last season and probably would've taken us up aswell. Credit to Nash too though

Played a big part in the run-in last season and wouldn't have been unhappy if we signed him for this campaign (obviously thats before I'd seen how good Sorro really is), so give him a thanks from me too if you see him.

May get chance to when we visit Goodison in March (if Howard injured or dropped). Wish him every success with rest of his career ('cept against us) in football; and his career in travel writing thereafter!

Yeah top keeper played a big part. Think he thought he would have got a deal with us though, not as good as Tommy Sorensen!!!

some guys at work said he contributed nothing. fucking idiots. He made sure Leicester were relegated, what more do they want? Good keeper and served us very well in a time when Simmo was struggling. All 3 keepers we used that season praise. Simmo was maginificent for the first 3 quarters of the season and pulled off many vital saves and is a top, top goalkeeper. Nash carried on this good form when Simmo wained a bit and pulled off some great performances. Hoult was brilliant for the half time draw and getting sent off! ;D

Yep Nashy was important for us last season. I'm surprised Tone didn't want to keep him.

Carlo did a brilliant job in his ten games. He was a really nice guy too and seemed to genuinely love the place. All the best to him and hopefully we can say thank you to him at Goodison.

This a late post from last season ???
The best thankyou would be 2 goals past him at Goodison (assuming he's in goal).
Got a great reception at the Brit, but, time to move on.

Carlo is the forgotten man of our promotion. Was superb between the sticks, and with no disrespect to Simmo, would rather have him on the bench.

Another forgotten man (who didn';t quite have the same impact)- Gabby Zakuani. Also, remember Stephen Wright and Jody Craddock helping us to promotion?
It all seems a very long time ago!!

I liked Stephen Wright. Got stuck in. Bit off the pace but effective.
Craddock, I almost forgot about him! Didnt he score?

Post by knowles on Feb 4, 2009 9:51:02 GMT
Craddock didn't score but he did well for us (I think he played four times). I met him at a gig a couple of weeks ago and he reckons we will stay up. The reason? Rory! ;D
