All depends on the results of a medical. Stoke player to Aafke
Demar Phillips is a medical test from Aalesund.
Aafke is verbally agreed with both the player and club, and only the medical test done before the paperwork can be signed.
- Phillips will meet the team in the afternoon and undergo a medical test in the evening. It goes in order, he writes under for a three year contract which ties him to 2011-season, \"says CEO Henrik Hoff to aafk.no.

Kjetil Rekdal is very happy with the purchase of Phillips.
- He is a player that can operate over the entire left side of the layer. He has great work and is quick. He is also a player who is good at Dødball, and we hope and believe this should go in order, \"said Rekdal.
Phillips has not yet started for Stoke in Premier League. He has recently been loaned to Oldham.

Ric probably isn't happy but what is the point of wasting wages just to keep him chuffed? As things stand, Ric isn't even a starter. The whole Demar transfer seems very bizarre from the moment he signed 18 months ago.

Stokes manager Tony Pulis said at the signing in 2007, that Demar Phillips was a player with a great talent and had rapid bone with a very good venstrefot. On their official website- appears that he is off to Gran Canaria for a spot on training and a medical. The Norwegian league, as far as I'm aware, is exempt from the transfer window. www.aafk.no/?menu=617&id=40362

Will fight with Kopteff for the left wing.
The Norwegian season starts on 15 th March, and I think in Norway, Sweden and Finland they can sign players until 31 st March.

It just hasn't worked out for anyone has it?
Let's hope that's the last time we sign a player in order to placate another one.

Another waste of money from Pulis, never going to anywhere near good enough for any English league team let alone CCC or Premiership

Spent quite a lot on Demar didn't he, even if no fee has been official.
Is this one of the reasons we don't buy foreign players again? I think players should be bought after being recommended by trusted scouts and not other players who are mates with them or because agents offers them to make money themselves.
