Fuller and Beatts are a big, big thing for us. Don't think they'll mess with them. I even think with the way the squad is coming together that Kits will have a say in things.
Has been posted somewhere that Pompey have just got Gekas the Greek on loan. Not exactly Defoe? So Ric stays put. Please!!

I'll put my 2 pennyworth in about Ric; as a player he can turn it on and perform when he wants to, but on Saturday he played as an individual and NOT as a team member.
His petulance after losing his penalty appeal was unbe-feckin-lievable; he sulked and moaned, and then took a bloody age to put his missing boot back on.
Then he had to leave the field to replace it and wait for the fourth official to let him back on the pitch.
Finally, after making a meal of showing his cut on his arm to the linesman and fourth official, he fucked off to get a dressing, leaving us with 10 men for another 5 minutes of play....and we scored !
So Ric...it's up to you mate !

Would be mad to sell him. He is our top scorer and we don't need the money especially from a rival team. Fuller ain't done much of late because we have had hard defencive games against top teams. He did alright at west ham then got sent off. I heard griff called him a monkey so he gave him a slap. Just remember how good he was against arsenal

For the first time we now have competition for places up front and this can only be a good thing. Yes Fuller has had a bad few weeks but to sell him on the basis of this is pure madness especially at this stage of the season. £5 million is nothing nowadays for a proven goalscorer. If we sell Fuller and beattie got injured we would be screwed. Kitson has done nothing since he has been here so I fail to see how so many people think he is the answer to our problems. At least wait till the end of the season and then if he wants to go then sell him. Under no circumstances should we sell fuller now, it would be suicidal!!

I think that Fuller is essential to the way that we played when we relied on mama and ric up front. With the signing of Etherington we seem to have a new plan A though which involves the forwards actually receiving some sort of service. This is why people think that Kitson should thrive now. At the end of the day he is a proven premiership striker whereas Ric hasn't exactly flourished in his previous spell in the top flight.
We have proved against Chelsea and Liverpool that we can put in a decent performance without Ric. If someone was to offer us £5M for a player pushing 30 with glass knees and an attitude problem then regardless of what undoubted skill and flair he has we should snap their hands off.
Now we got Beattie in as well Ric is not 'essential' to us anymore as previously Mama would do the dirty work for Ric to score whereas Beattie is able to do both the dirty work and score or bring other players into the game, such as setting up Delaps goal against Chelski. Especially with the supposed signing of Camara losing Ric would no longer be the absoloute travesty that it would have been even just a month ago.
