people forget how Fuller is necessary to our team
Granted he has done wrong, will be the first to admit but he is still a major factor in the fight for relegation
Kitson, he needs to go,l I'd get rid at the first opportunity

5 mill? sounds like a good deal to me. He is quality when he turns it on but at the moment hes bad points are outweighing his good points and for 5 mill I think we'd be getting a good deal. To be honest I thought after West Ham he would have felt when that he returned he owed the fans something and he had a point to prove, but yday his attitude and performance was poor.

Before Ethers and BT arrived Fuller was the big fish in a small pond now we have some more players with a lot more to give I would gladly take 5 million for Fuller as for people having short memories sorry but we cant keep looking back at what Ric has done in the past we need to look at his contribution over the last few games he has played and for me he hasnt been setting the world on fire for gods sake he doesnt even seem able to keep his bloody boots on his feet.

i cant believe your even saying sell ric some fans have short memories without ric no 3 points at villa no 3 points against sunderland no 3 points against arsenal he turned the game at stjames park without him we would have not gained a point Mama scored the winning goal against Villa, so its you who has the short memory

I agree salopstick. Kitson and Beattie would be a great strike force! Now we have 2 wingers, both players will get goals!

If we get rid of Ric without signing a fucking good replacement then it is totally and utterly the most ridiculous thing we could do in this window. I hear much bullshit about Ric and the players we have that could replace him but the facts are these - he is THE ONLY striker we have who has real pace and can run at defenders. Mama can't, Kitson can't, Cress can't and Beattie can't (although Beattie brings so much more.) The Premier League is all about pace and we haven't got enough now, yet some of you inextricably want to get rid of our quickest player we have!! If we get a pacy frontman in who is top quality then fine, we as a club are progressing so it is certainly a possibility that we could go out and spend enough to improve on Ric but please don't try and tell me we have a replacement already at Stoke because we haven't.

Etherington is faster than Fuller!
Plus if we bring in Camara like a lot of rumours say, then he will be a like for like replacement

Etherington is quick but I doubt he is anywhere near as quick as Ric and last time I checked he was midfielder and not a striker. Camara may be ok but I would see him as an option to Ric and not as a replacement.

I really don't think Camara's fit to lace Fuller's boots. He's 32 this summer.
Excellent potential short-term cover as a last resort, but only in addition to Fuller, surely?
Fortunately Pulis is Fuller's No.1 fan, and I'm sure he'll make the right call on him, which I'm 99.9% sure will be to continue considering him to be one of our top assets

What about a straight swap for Crouch. I know it would never happen but theres a player who WOULD score a few given our style of play !!!

Fuller is a match winner and we haven't got many of those.
Regardless of whether he starts we have seen his impact from the bench on more than one occasion.
For me he should not be sold and it would be madness to consider it.

Fuller cannot be sold, its as simple as that.
Sheer lunacy, especially if its to a rival. Besides, Adams will be getting sacked soon.

5m is a good price for fuller but i wouldn`t sell him its a shame for the club because if he put in 100% instead of 60% he`s putting in now he would be awsome with beattie. The last month or so he hasn`t seemed quite there, it gets me annoyed when i watch him but then again many a time when i thought the game was lost or draw he`s netted one and stoke have gone on to win.
I say Fuller to stay !!!!

its not the only suspension he's had either
dont understand why folks cant seem to see there is a big + side to Fuller & a big - side too
selling him now would be nuts in the summer though well maybe.

One of the reader comments on teamtalk reckon that Pompey have/plan to offer £5m for Fuller - if I'm honest I would take that after yesterday's lacklustre showing, he needs to be able to play without a 'Mama' and once more his attitude looked wrong He was injured and hobbling, he wasn't laclustre, TP should have taken him off earlier. Sell Fuller and as Laughing gravy says who do we replace him with

Just think for a second.. what do you get for £5m these days?.. exactly.. Kitson!! Would you really prefer to have Kitson marauding ;D in the opposition penalty box over Ric?

Some of you lot are fucking mad or too young to remember what its like to have a prize asset then sell.
So youd rather seee £5m in Coates's bank account than having Ricardo at our disposal
I will say it again - YOU ARE FUCKING MAD

Fuller will get us between 12 -15 goals this season, akthough he needs to be as sharp as he was earlier on in the season. He is key to us staying up
Also whats wrong with competition for places....keeps players honest !!
