god knows, anyone bothered? If they've broken the rules they should be punished. Hopefully with a tasty points deduction.

Yep saw that on the Wigan vital football site. He was ineligible for the cup games. Knowing the FA they will probably say oh well Bolton beat ya so it doesnt matter. Thats if anyone at Lancaster gate even tracks the misdemenours of the established clubs

That can't be right can it ? Serving a ban by missing games you are ineligible for anyway ?

No, because the two games that he was suspended for, he couldn't play anyway.
It's like how Fuller managed to get his 5th yellow suspension during international week. So he was suspended for a game he wouldn't have played in anyway!

Weather he played for his country that week or not means nothing. You cant drop a player from a squad that he is not allowed to be in, in the first place as Spurs have done.

Spurs are a big club and people at the FA are probably season ticket holders so we may as well forget it now! Same as when Ronaldo and Rooney commit red card offences it doesn't matter they are untouchable and can do what they want with no strings attachched. Its just the way football is

trebor: it will never change if everyone takes that attitude, you have to stand up to them, or they keep on doing it.
even if 99 times out of 100 when you stand up to them, nothing happens, Its an improvement on 100 times out of 100 if you do nothing

from Spurs website on 21st Jan
Palacios was not a Spurs player until after 21 Jan. The dull fan has not done his homework before stirring a hornets nest imo.

Even so, he would still have been suspended yesterday, their FA cup game , could surely NOT have counted as one of the games as he wasn't eligible to play in it as he was Cup tied
