I though both Shawcross and Wilko were fantastic today, both of them, but especially Wilko defended with a considered maturity that we have not seen in past games.
Wilko seems to have really made the right back spot his own now, long may it continue.

I'm not surprised in the slightest by those displays of Wilkinson because after all i did post that before he got back into the starting 11 that Griffin would have to fight hard for his place back and that Wilko will keep him out and push himself on to the next level.
Then again i rate a certain Lewis Buxton too and i still do and i'm still gutted that he left.

Wilko looked immense today and has for a while, wilko and shawcross aged about 27/8 is a frightening prospect if they this composed now.

Wilko was great today but I have to say he was terrible at Spurs so lets not get too carried away.

I must say i had concerns when i saw Robinho playing more left wingish, him running at wilko = calamity.
But i was prooved wrong
