An immense performance from the lads today, nearly ruined by the introduction of Griffin and a clumsy challenge which may well have been a penalty.
I thought Wilko and Pugh played well at full back today, but I hope Pulis has some quality full backs in his shopping basket tomorrow.
As for Griffin, well I have been calling for his head since Bolton. I am convinced we wouldn't be in the Prem now if he hadn't have got injured last season. I hope he is a bit part player after tomorrow.

i thought griff was solid when he came on, he's decent backup to have. didnt look like a penalty to me, certainly wasnt blatant as Hughes was claiming it was

yes, he was lucky to not concede a penalty. he looks very old as well these days for his age if you ask me.

He did well I thought and that tackle was never in a million years a penalty.

Why are people moaning.
United strength is stronger.
Just think of the 80th minute roar and how it galvanised players and fans.

Yes, it's time for Griffin to go, and after seeing their penalty claim i'm at a loss to even see how Griffin once he was in a good position to deal with the danger he then in an instance found himself out of position.

I'm not moaning. It's just a point of view.
I am still hoarse from shouting myself. If you want praise, I can not say anything more that others have already said on this board - Etherington was class; Beattie's goal - class; Shawcross, Wilko, AFaye, Pugh - heros. The stoke support - one of the best I can remember.
Today's result gives us a great chance of putting a run together, but we still need to be aware of where we can improve if we are going to push on and survice.

I've stuck up a lot for Griffin, who on the whole has been better than expected this season, but I thought he was garbage when he came on. For an experienced full back he constantly lost his man and I thought it was a stone wall pen on Richards too. As reprehensible as the ref was, we got away with that one. We need two quality proper full backs asap

Micah Richards barged Griff in the back and they both went down in a tangle of legs. I was worried because the Ref had given everything to Citeh in the match and one more injustice would have made his display complete.
BTW how fat was Richards. He is only a young lad and his moobs wobbled as he ran.

Griffin is a lia'fuckin'bility just lately gets turned inside out all to often/easy.
Yes he's definately the weakest link and whilst we're on the subject of full-backs Danny Higginbottom should be made to fight for his place back because Danny pugh did such a sterling job today. Then again if Amdy Faye doesn't make it for the next match then it's a certainty that Danny Pugh will take his place.

Richards was the size of an elephant! He looked slow too. He wasn't as fat as the substitute they brought on. He looked like he'd eat SWP as a snack.

Griffin did a great job today and made some great tackles in important areas.

Despite the fact we've won a game against all the odds having a man sent off so early, there's always some miserable fucker who wants to have moan,
I dispair sometimes I really do.
Its like having a big lottery win then moaning that they paid you out in £50 notes instead of £20s
