in the early nineties i remember getting piss wet thro,on a mid week night, watching us get beat by cambridge in the league cup ,then driving back and getting home in the early hours, well and truly pissed off.Now i watch a video of beatties cracking header, with a brazilian commentator, how far have we come.sometimes i still can't believe it.so when we get badly beaten, like last tuesday, keep smiling and be proud of where we are and where we have come from. ;D ;D No matter what happens,we will always remember days like today, the atmosphere was unbelievable,we did ourselves proud. ;D ;D

This is what a lot of prem fans I talk to fail to understand, just how amazing it is to be playing some quality opposition with our own set of quality players.
I'm only young but can remember some terrible times in Division 2!

Thats why I cant be doing with the moaners, Ive been waiting years to get that 1970's feeling back. It will be a bumpy ride but the Vic was reborn today.
Stans ashes must have been trembling in that centre circle. Great way to celebrate Stans Day!!!
Enjoy the ride fellow stokeys

You can't moan about today, it was brilliant. You can't moan about being in the Prem, it's where you want to be. But you can sing your hearts out, just like you did today. Awesome

It shows how far we've come since those days in Division Two when we'd lose plenty of home games against the likes of Swansea and Walsall. Away at such clubs we'd be happy with a point.
Now we're competing on the biggest stage in the world and holding our own. I think we can be very proud of everything the club has achieved, from Coates and Pulis, to the players and the fantastic backing of the supporters.
