I gather that by the stunned silence and the few boo's after the video that it didnt go down well with most people.
What did you guys think about it??

Did not see it myself, but like a few of us were saying, we are not puppets or monkeys that perform for ANYONE.
It comes with the passion we have for our beloved team. As and when WE feel fit.

Forced singing is for quiet grounds like at Middlesborough I hate being told when to start and stop singing proper fans don't need it

They said in Delilah's that it'd be something that continues eevry home game - if they are insisting on sticking with it, maybe they could just get the "celebs" singing it all the way through, rather than just a few lines and then stopping it expecting the rest of the crowd to join in?

What was this then? Was it before KO? Yes bayern was just before kick off. To me it sounded like they were taking the piss a bit, not that it was at all intended to be that way.

So what was it then? Something like Nick Hancock on the screen trying to start a Delilah? We got there on kick off so I missed it!

Yes it was awful, And the guy on the mike saying the players are in the tunnel and all they can hear is man city, we don't have to sing and i don't think the players are especially listening for the crowds songs before KO

it was part of the club plan to turn the pa off 10 minutes before the start, a bit of a pr gaff if you ask me
you need something to gear up the crowd and this wasnt it
maybe the "we are the People - we have the best city in the land" song
just before the teams come out
the deliah was too forced

Is that who it was then ? Just got in when the PA guy was saying about he could only hear Man Citeh, for me the music and build up was never a problem and should be bought back immediately !

I'd rather we just didn't play any music and didn't have any PA asides from announcing the teams. No deliberately making a point of not having music though.

Did no one notice the guy standing on the pitch in front of the Booten/Seddon stand? Looked like he was measuring the noise we made with a little hand held jobbie. Maybe that's why we were being ''forced'' to sing?
