Firstly, would like to say fans and team were awesome. Secondly ,well done Tony.I am critical of your tactics at times but today it worked and everyone played with great pride and guts. Thirdly. our goal simply underlines what we have felt all season. We can play some decent football and now we need to use Rory's long throw more sparingly and with the element of surprise.
Today was massive well done everyone.(except SWP)

Agreed! Superb cross and a superb header. On the subject of throws, Rory's to Pugh was the most inventive long throw I've seen ;D

This is the point. In Rory's throw we have a real asset but we have done it to death with constantly hurling it into the box at every attempt. With a bit of subtlety and invention we can constantly catch teams unaware. Big fan of Rory but today showed us the way forward.

It annoyed me at Blackburn where the constant long throws were playing straight into their hands. A short throw would cause equal confusion as we saw today which led to our goal. Now theres a talking point... If Rory had only got booked would we have won the game today ???
