Yet again Wilko was magnificant IMO, strong in the challenge, quick and very composed. Not bad for a L1 "liability".
So anyone want to comment on how well he kept Robinho out of the game? Or will this thread drop like a stone, then next week will have people calling for him to be dropped again?
GOARRRRRN WILKO

Best game he's had for us. Surprised me after his poor showing at Spoz. Kept his head well and did play Robinho very well.
He should have those injections every week

Robbie the Rapist was in his back pocket all game. Fair play to the lad

He plays well at home but remains a liability away, now is not the time to blood players..

He was awesome today and is a fantastic young lad. Top marks for TP for keeping faith in him.

Did really well today , made up for his poor performance at spurs, lets hope he learns from every game, the lad has a great attitude but must work hard on his distribution still

I apologise! I was asked before the Spurs game who i'd have at left back...unhesitantly i said wilko...Griff was too inconsistent! I unreservedly apologise! Wilko 'did good'

He was great and I'm big enough to apologise unreservedly.
Now how about some of you apologising to Cresswell for another lung busting display to keep pressure off the defence.

Everyone played magnificent, even Pugh made up for his first half performance

Before the start of the season I expected both Wilko and Dicko to make the step up, then for a good while it honestly looked like neither would - I've got nothing but praise for how Wilko's now delivering - and I reckon Ryan's showed him the way after a bad start too.

Just back and I've come on here for exactly that reason....I was critical of him in the week but he proved me wrong today.
I heard he had a painkilling injection just before the game so to put in a performance like that against 'She said no' was extra impressive.
Well done Wilko and all the others, great spirit, massive three points.

was excellent defensively. It's when he has the ball he's a problem.
But you have to say, Robinho didn't look bothered to me. Saying that you can only play what's in front of you - well done Wilko.

All our full backs struggle away though. They tuck in and on the bigger pitches they give the wingers too much room. Wilko was magnificent today I thought as were the rest of the back 4 and team but I think Wilko shone today.

I must admit I feared a peppering from the flanks when I saw Wilko and Pugh there, however I wouldn't get on their backs anyway as they always give their all.

Thought he had a really good game today. I'm sure he will turn out to be an excellent player - I just hope it's with us. I don't know how close we came to selling him to Blackpool a while back but he looks like an excellent prospect now. Nice to see a local (Stone) lad playing for us in the Premier league

apologose for what ?? he had a good game, but he still has a lot to learn. just like last week and against Chelsea he still had some mistakes ball watching instead of man watching. He has the makings of a good player for Stoke
