10.
Not only have we beaten a side with a single players matching our squad valuation, but we have beat them with 10 men, and deservedly.
The sheer work-rate forced them into shooting from distance, and Sorensen didn't have any real saves to make.
Pulis got the tactics and substitutions spot on for me today, and you can say what you like about Pulis, if you want a manager who can defend a lead, and organise a back-four there isn't many better in the league.
He and the lads have earned every bit of praise they get this weekend.
Fantastic.

Not having a go or anything, your perfectly entitled to your opinion, but i'm just wondering what in particular made you vote 8 instead of 10?

Good team selection except for Fuller and Delap. Would have played Kitson and Lawrence (perhaps moved Delap inside for Faye) but it's nit picking. Made the right substitutions as well.
Ideal game for the manager - didn't have to do much with the team - we started poorly, then dominated. Delap got a red (deserved IMHO) then it was backs to the wall. Brilliant goal from Beattie and we defended like heroes.

No Lawrence or No Kitson in starting line-up BUT a thoroughly and massively deserved 9 out of 10.
Well done Tone.

8 Negatives being starting wilko and pugh as full backs and bringing on cressy over lenny I have to disagree a bit with that, I thought both Wilko and Pugh played really well in the full back positions, especially Wilko. I thought he was superb today. But, its all about opinions and you're free to yours mate just as much as I am to mine. Anyway, we won which is all that matters!! ;D Oh, and on the topic of the thread I'd give Pulis a 9.5 today. The half point lost was because I would have liked to have seen Lawrence a some point today. A tremendous win non the less, well done to the mighty potters!

Bringing on Cresswell was genius when everyone in the ground expected Lawrence. Cresswell is so good in these type of situations.
Today you saw a group of inferior players who are properly coached and motivated and some excellent players whose tactics were a shambles.
A team will always beat disorganised individuals.
Man City must have had 40 coaches around the dugout. What do they do, it certainly isn't any coaching ;D

10, including a bonus point for having the extra character to do that today after the nightmare that was Spurs. A great, great performance with 10 men for so long.

I thought we started very poorly indeed, and it looked like it might be a very bad afternoon. Tony managed to get some type of message on to the players and they picked it up. From then on we looked in control.
Cresswell substitution was the right one (hardly a stroke of genius though march4). All of the substitutions were spot on.
Would have preferred to see LL start. Looks like we might have seen the last of him, and would have preferred Kitson instead of the bone-idle mard-arse that is Ricardo Fuller.
