Andy Wilkinson or John Pantsill?
Wilkinson has made one mistake yet because of it he's been strung up by his bollocks for it. No doubt as a Stoke fan he will be absolutley gutted as well. He gives 100% every week an IMHO is starting to look the part (excellent vs Chelsea and Liverpool). If were not going to give him a decent run then he wont improve, simple.
GOARRRNNNN WILKO!!

GOARRRNNNN WILKO!! he's made at least 3 as far as i can see. getting sent off against manure and costing us a point, got caught out for chelsea's first goal and was at fault for at least the first goal against spurs

Wilko aint good enough long term at this level IMO. Without a doubt we will need to sort that area out soon.

I'd say the opposite, he's a bit raw at the moment and lacks experience but if we develope him in the right way then he could become a very good full back long term. He has the potential, he's just not there just yet.

I like Wilko and I'd keep him as cover but he has given away a lot of goals and we can't keep doing that.

Depends what you want from a full back Tony likes his full backs to defend. Other mangers (Wenger, Scolari) see full backs as primarily attacking players like Cole and Eboue, Pantsil seem to fit into the attacking style of player Also Tony normally plays central defenders as full backs (Griffin excepted) and he likes them to play quite narrow and basically defend the side of the penalty box. When Wilko first started to get into the 1st team (under Gudjon) he was a central defender who could fill in as left or right back at his age he will either be good enough or should look to step down to a lower division. Another shinning example of Tony's youth development policy

His distribution is woeful Jimmy Bullard and Ian Wright were very late starters, but I'd say they were worth waiting for. I wouldn't class him in the same bracket as those two though. By that logic, Pericard - 26 - could soon develop into a deadly goal machine. It won't happen. Same goes for Wilko i'm afraid. Solid enough, but we need better

One mistake? you having a giraffe? He's not made one I don't like to knock players but he's well out of his depth at this level. A definate weak spot in the team.
