apparently as the season has progressed. The Spurs game was almost a carbon copy of the 1st game of the season (score included) playing one of the "lesser teams", standing off, giving them yards of space, they got to the ball first every time, slack marking, ball watching. If yo uthrow in 3 good players sitting on the bench while the likes of Cresswell and Amdy Faye start. Pulis cliamed they were naive against Bolton, the ysurely were lat night too. They forgot everything of the way the played against Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea. Did they think that playing a so called "lesser" team like Spurs that it would be any easier ??? Obvioulsy so, because the first half ( like Newcastle etc) was truly horrible. Someone on here mentioned that its not losing we are moaning about, that is expected in this league, it was the manner in which they lost!! Do we (Pulis included) actually think that opposing defenses are "scared" or "worried" about our attacking options and prowess when we start the likes of Cresswell ??? Someone else on here stated that its not his fault, it was his damn fault he missed the sitter header in the 2nd half. But my point is, teams feel they can cope with our attack when Cresswell starts and Fuller is on the bench, which give them more attacking options in moving forward against us and not worry about our center forward doing much !! Pulsi needs to lear that his subs are ther efor a good reason He keeps saying Lawrence and Fuller are not match fit, play them to get a lead then sub them if and when they get tired to keep it, not when we are down and need a goal to draw !!!! This is all about the learning lessons he, they dont seem to be learning !! IMO

Stokelad..No Cresswell didnt play centre half last night....BUT.. his selection is the catalyst for everything the manager is getting wrong at the moment ....team selection and tactics!!!...and dont tell me to get behind em as i was sat at home today after having 2 days off work to watch what is currently a shambles!! ...Oh and before anybody asks..no i dont think he should be sacked...he deserves this season and possibly next? Its the tactics and team selection what need to change

For me, until Whelan is dropped from the team we'll do jack shit. People moan at the cresswell's and all that, and fine, but don't tell me Whelan is prem quality. Quiet, doesn't even try to dominate midfield, can't cross, passes sideways or backwards and don't say it's because the ball goes over his head because if any of you watched the Ireland games, he did the same for them. Plenty of little 3 yard passes, but i watched him closely and he is not one for screaming at other players to give him the ball so he can boss a game. For all those who don't agree, see if he's playing in the prem in 12 months time. We didn't exactly fight teams off to sign him neither.
